~We go backstage and catch up with Ric Flair, who is decked out from head to toe in his patented red, gold studded robe, standing in front of a mirror and slicking his hair back with a grin.~ Tonight… is the NIGHT… that The Nature Boy makes it by God SEVENTEEN TIME… WOOOOOO Heavyweight Champion of the World!

~He slaps both of his biceps and turns around, breaking out into a strut for the door, where he is halted by KANE!~













~Kane stands just inside of the doorway, staring coldly down at Flair and adjusts his fighting glove.~


~Ric’s eyes grow wide and he takes a look around, realizing that he’s alone. He then quickly drops down to his knees and holds his hands up.~ NOOOOOOO!

~Kane tilts his head t the side, breaking out into a grin.~ Ric… if I wanted to hurt you, tonight, I would have already. I’m here for another reason…

~Ric cautiously gets back up to his feet, taking a few steps away from Kane.~

Kane: Batista and O’Haire did your son’s dirty work tonight, I’ll deal with them eventually. But I need something from you.

Ric: Sure! Whatever you want! I’m your man!

Kane: You’ve got one of two options. If you win tonight, next week… I want a title shot.

~Ric’s eyes bulge out of his head, and he grudgingly nods his head.~

Kane: But… if you become the General Manager again, I want something ELSE next week… and you’d better give it to me.

~Ric nods his head.~ Whatever you want big man, you’ve got it!

~Kane grins and calls Flair over, beginning to tell him what it is as we go to a commercial break.~
