"Live for the Moment" starts up on the speakers, followed by the leader of Team Mattitude, Matt Hardy V1.0. Hardy climbs onto the apron and then onto the 2nd rope from the outside, slowly lifting his arm into a V1 sign!








"I Am" comes on the speakers right after Hardy is in the ring, bringing out the UCW International Champion AJ Styles! Styles steps onto the ramp, with his trademarked vest and hood over his head, and walks with a purpose to the squared circle. Styles breaks into a run and slides in under the bottom rope, extending his arms out and yanking his hood off on the reveal. The fans all go to their feet as Styles un-straps his International title and kisses the face of it, handing it over to referee Nick Patrick.


The bell rings and Styles immediately circles around Matt. Hardy doesn’t take the bait and reaches forward with a poke to the eyes. AJ reaches up to wipe them and gets caught with a jab to the throat. Matt follows with a series of punches that sends Styles into the corner. He comes right with a boot to the chest and holds Styles back by his chin. Matt goes for another punch that AJ catches and spins him around into the corner. Styles goes berserk with shots to Hardy instead, finally Irish whipping him into the other corner. Matt hits back first, and Styles runs forward leaping up and stepping on Matt's chest, back flipping off before landing on his feet. Hardy stumbles out, clutching his chest and gets PLASTERED by a discus elbow from Styles that floors him!

Matt holds his chin and moves up to one knee. AJ backs up some and measures Hardy, putting his hands up to get him into focus and comes racing forward with a Shining Wizard knee. This one catches Matt right in the side of the head and sprawls him onto his back. Styles pounces on him quickly and yanks back on the leg. Patrick drops into position and counts...1....2....ALMOST 3 as Styles has almost pulled off a shocker!

Hardy moves up some, as Styles gets off and stands glaring at Patrick. Matt moves to his knees as AJ stands behind him, shoving him with his foot in the back of his head every few seconds. Hardy shakes his head out after being kicked. He reaches up and touches the side of his head, seeing blood on his wrist taping. Styles circles around him, putting another foot shove to him and yelling at him to stand up. When Hardy does get to his feet, AJ waves him back up, mockingly asking the crowd to get up and louder for Matt. Hardy glares at him and wobbles to his feet, trying to catch his balance. Styles then rakes his eyes and goes for a whip into the ropes. Hardy comes off and ducks a clothesline by AJ. Matt bounds off a second time and meets Styles with a flying lariat that floors both men. AJ bounces up after a second and is met by a HARD shot to his chest from Matt, who grips onto his face and claws at his eyes! Styles yells and pulls Patrick in to break it up. Matt moves forward some and drills Styles with a punch to the chin, and whips him into the corner, following him in. AJ hits the corner chest first, and before getting to bounce out, is caught by a Hardy body splash that takes BOTH men over the top rope, bouncing on the apron and to the floor!

AJ gets up first, pulling on the apron before rolling back inside the ring. Matt follows him, holding onto the apron and lowering his head. He gets halfway into the ring before Styles rushes up and drops an elbow across the back of his neck, flipping him back inside. AJ yanks him away from the ropes and falls on him for a pin attempt. Patrick drops down and gives a 1....2..ONLY 2 as Hardy kicks out again. Styles then waves it off and points down to Matt, asking if he's ready to get done now. AJ pulls him up by the hair and jacks him between his legs, trying to lock in a Styles Clash. Matt waits until he bends forward and yanks back on his legs, sending Styles to the canvas. Hardy leans forward, holding his shoulders down and putting his legs up on the ropes. Styles tries to fight his way out but Patrick is there to give a 1...2..and a 3 COUNT!

Nick stands up and goes to turn to the timekeeper, but sees the ropes shaking. Matt pulls his feet off of there a split second too late, and Patrick waves it off! Saying the match MUST continue! Hardy protests what's going on, demanding his hand be raised. AJ pulls up on the ropes to move to his feet as Hardy and Nick argue some more. Styles gets behind Hardy and pulls up on his kickpad, moving forward with a spinning crescent kick that Matt ducks and comes up with a Side Effect! This one DRIVES Styles into the canvas, as he bounces straight up and then falls onto his side. Matt rolls him over and yanks back on the leg, getting 1....2..ONLY 2 as AJ shoves his arm out!

Hardy smacks his hands onto the mat in frustration, yanking Styles up by the hair and cracks him across the jaw with a punch. Then follows with a kick to the face. Matt goes for another one then pauses to wipe the side of his head off, fuming at the cut. He then wipes it some more on his palm and claws down on Styles' face, rubbing it into his forehead. Hardy yanks him up and moves his hand signal into Styles' face with a "VERSION ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAH!!!"

AJ answers him with a kick to the knee that buckles Matt down some. Hardy then jacks his head into his armpit and instead of holding his arm out, goes right into the rotation for a Twist of Fate! Styles quickly reaches out and grabs the 2nd rope, letting Matt fall to the canvas! Styles pulls himself to his feet and then steps outside onto the apron. Matt moves to his feet, and AJ pulls himself over quickly, catching Matt's head as he goes over and landing on his feet. AJ adjusts him, and gets set to drop to the mat in an Inverted DDT, but Hardy rotates out of it and NAILS a Twist of Fate that jacks AJ into the mat!

Styles jolts to the mat, flat out as Hardy lays next to him, sitting up and fuming, wincing from the open cut. Matt finally rolls over and drops an arm across Styles. Patrick moves down and gives a 1....2...ONLY a 2 count as AJ drapes his foot on the bottom rope! Matt has had enough this time from Styles escaping him and shoots up to his feet, pointing to the corner and raising his hands to go up. Hardy starts to climb on the inside, setting up for a leg drop. Styles sees him go up and shoves Patrick towards him to throw him off for a moment! AJ gets up and moves to the corner, punching Matt in the midsection and pulling him forward. Hardy struggles with him as he bends forward, grabbing onto the ropes. AJ steps around his arms and starts punching Matt's back, finally yanking him off. Hardy puts his hands on the canvas, fighting off the attempt, as Styles steps back around him and pushes forward, smashing Matt's face into the 3rd turnbuckle!

Hardy winces, and tries to get away again, but AJ jams him in a second time. Finally pulling him off of the ropes and stepping around his arms a second time. He yanks up some, getting Hardy in position and turns around, falling forward and crushing Hardy into the canvas with a Styles Clash! Matt goes limp after this one, and Styles rolls through with it, keeping his shoulders on the mat and leaning up as Patrick goes down giving a 1....2...and THREE count!

AJ lets of the hold as Patrick signals for the bell and hands him the International Title! Styles holds it aloft to a mixed reaction, cradling it to his chest as “I Am” blasts back over the speakers! AJ now rolls to the outside, holding the title above his head as he retreats to the back, having now left Mat Hardy behind for the LAST time after a year and a half of battles!

Meanwhile, back in the ring, Hardy sits up and shakes his head out, and as soon as he realizes what’s happened, his eyes grow wide and he begins to pull at his hair. JR goes on and on about how much Matt Hardy has contributed to this business, but now he’s done and he can never return to Raw!

Hardy pulls himself up and kicks the bottom rope, throwing a HUGE fit and rolls to the outside, pulling his hair out as the crowd gives him a mixed reaction on his way to the back.
