The crowd EXPLODES as “Basic Thuganomics” rapes the speakers, signaling the arrival of the Doctor of Thuganomics himself, John Cena! He struts out onto the top of the stage, throwing the “Word Life” sign above his head as he rocks a Mike Bibby Sacramento Kings jersey down to the ring where he pulls a mic out from the front of his pants, throwing it down.


Yo, Yo, Yo, Yo, Yo, Yo, YOOOOOOOOO!

2005 is comin’ man, it’s almost the new year.
Your calendar is about to change, but the Franchise playa is STILL here!

Now I’m gonna let ya’ll in on my New Year’s resolution…
Tonight we change the game, and we start a revolution.

From this point on, there’s no such thing as a John Cena fan…
If you ridin’ with me, then you ridin’ with the chain gang, man!

The crowd goes WILD, chanting “CENA! CENA! CENA!” repeatedly!







We Lie, We Cheat, We Steeeeeeeal!







Los Guerrero’s ride their way down the ramp in a custom low rider, Chavo at the wheel as Eddie stands up in the passenger side, playing to the crowd.


Eddie climbs onto the apron, shimmying from side to side before Cena kick starts the mat, grabbing him by the head and flips him into the ring! As Eddie bounces back up to his feet, John runs him over with three repeated shoulder tackles before taking him over with a fisherman buster suplex! Cena then pulls him back up and takes him over with a second, pulling him up for third fisherman, this time hooking the leg for a close two count!

The crowd is firmly behind Cena as he leans over Eddie, waving his hand in front of his face as the crowd yells out “YOU CAN’T SEE ME!” The Doctor then bounces off the ropes, shimmies his shoulders, and then DROPS the 5 Knuckle Shuffle to the top of Eddie’s head!

John struts around the ring, hyping up the crowd as Eddie rolls to the outside at Chavo’s feet for some consoling. The crowd then begins to make some noise as EDGE makes his way out from the back!











Edge makes his way down to ringside with the United States Championship across his shoulder, taking a seat at ringside and begins to do commentary, scouting his opposition.


Meanwhile, John then comes baseball sliding to the outside, knocking Los Guerrero’s heads together! He then rolls Eddie back into the ring and runs Chavo over with a lariat before standing across the table from Edge, waving his hand in front of his face! Edge gets right up to his feet, motioning to the US championship belt that sits on the table. John shrugs his shoulders and STEALS the belt, raising it above his head to a pop from the crowd!

Chavo now stalks behind Cena, but John turns on a dime and BLASTS him with the championship! As soon as Edge makes a move for Cena, John backs him off with the belt before dropping it to the floor, climbing onto the apron. Edge quickly goes and picks up the belt, cradling it to his chest as Eddie meets Cena with a boot to the head as he attempts to enter back into the ring.

Eddie now takes Cena all the way back into the ring with a springing suplex off the ropes. He pops his hips and rolls through, taking John over with a second, and then a third. Eddie now pops back up to his feet and leans over Cena, waving HIS hand in front of his face to a round of boos from the fans! Eddie now comes off the ropes, stops, dusts his shoulder off, but before he can complete Cena’s 5 Knuckle Shuffle, John takes him down to the mat with a double leg takedown and begins to fire away with heavy right hands!

Chavo climbs onto the apron, just to be flipped into the ring and onto Eddie! John measures them and takes a running start, taking them BOTH down with a flying shoulder tackle! As Eddie lay prone on the mat, Cena hoists Chavo onto his shoulders and DRILLS him onto Eddie with the FU!!

The crowd goes CRAZY as Chavo goes rolling to the outside, and Cena bends over, PUMPING IT UP! He waits for Eddie to stand, and as soon as he does so, he lifts him for the FU! However, Eddie kicks his legs wildly and floats over with a sunset flip for a close two count. Right back on their feet, Eddie ducks a Cena clothesline and floats around him with a spinning DDT, jacking Cena head first into the mat!

Eddie rolls beneath the bottom rope and onto the ring apron, using the ropes to spring himself back into the ring with a rolling senton that connects for another two-count! Guerrero pounds his chest and waits for Cena to stand, meeting him with a kick to the gut and lifts him for a Brain buster to Edge’s approval. However, Cena floats over, keeps hold of Eddie’s arm and out of NOWHERE lifts him onto his shoulders and JAMS him into the mat with the FU for the one, two, THREE!


“Basic Thuganomics” rapes the speakers once more as John Cena has won the right to challenge Edge for the United States Championship at the Royal Rumble!

As Cena gets to his feet and pumps the “Word Life” sign above his head, Edge slides into the ring and measures him from behind. As soon as John turns around, Edge comes roaring in with a Spear, but Cena steps out of the way and Edge Spears the corner! The Doctor then waves his hand in front of his face and hoists Edge onto his shoulders now, connecting with the third FU of the night to the roar of the crowd!

“Basic Thuganomics” picks up once more as John Cena struts around the ring with the United States Championship, telling the world that this will be the scene come the Royal Rumble, Y’heard?!
