*Lance Storm walks out from behind the curtain, watching the celebration. Storm crosses his arms as he stares down at Jericho and Stratus' celebration.*


~Chris and Trish stop the celebration once they spot Storm. Trish looks up to Chris.~

Trish: I'll leave you two be, I've got a match to get ready for. ~She kisses Jericho on the cheek before making her way off scene, nodding to Lance as she disappears.~

*Lance comes forward giving slow claps to Jericho's performance out there, watching intently.* "You stayed conscious this time, congratulations."

~Jericho smirks.~ And you're standing... last time I saw you, you were lying flat on your back looking up at... who was that again? Oh yeah... ME.

Storm: "For what its worth, I was trying to save your ass last week. I gain nothing from having you lose to Christian."

Jericho: For what it's worth... I don't care. I've seen the way you look at me since you got here, you envy me, Lance, and it's killing you. How does the line go? "Don't you wish you were me"? Well keep dreaming, Lance, because you'll never be me... and you'll never... EEEEEEEEVER be the Heavyweight Champion, agaiiiin.

~Jericho nods his head, agreeing with himself.~ That's what it's all about, isn't it? Since Calgary, you've known that I have ALL the tools to make it big. Sure, we can both go in the ring, but charisma, you have not. Me, on the other hand, I'm the most charismatic champion of them all, and it kills you. It kills you that you were a transitional champion, nothing more than a paper champ while I, Y2J, have been the MVP of whatever show I've been on for years now.

Storm: “The MVP you say... Chris, let me make one thing clear to you. That title you wear? It’s because I wasn’t around to win it first. You can tell yourself that you're the man constantly. Trish can tell you the same thing. But.. I'm going to change things a bit. I want you to look me in the eyes, and tell ME that you're better than I am. That you could put that 10 pounds of confidence up and walk out with it when you're locking up with me."

~Jericho looks down to his belt, and then up to Lance, pausing for a moment.~ I guess we'll find out on Sunday. ~He pauses once more.~ Actually, let's make a bet, you and I. Next week, the last Raw before the Rumble, we need big ratings. Unlike your title run, mine is and will be a success. Next week, I want a crack at someone who's going to be in the Hell in the Cell.. I want a shot against my boyhood idol, Shawn Michaels.

~The crowd pops loudly!~ And you, well... how about, if you've got the guts, you go one on one with a man that you've ducked your entire career... a man that I've beaten TWICE in the past 2 months alone... "The Game" Triple H!

Storm: I duck NO man. But I'll take that bet. My win against Triple H next week is just the right bit of motion I'm going to need, to beat YOU in the cell at Royal Rumble. Because, rest assured, you're the only one I'm concerned with in there. Because to me? You're the weakest link.

~Jericho's eyes grow wide as he and Storm stand nose to nose. Jericho's face contorts into pure hatred, and after a few moments, we go to a commercial break.~
