OH! It’s Time To Rock ‘N Roll!







… “Rock ‘N Roll” by Lil Kim blasts over the speakers, and the fans’ attention is turned to the top of the stage where we see Trish Stratus’ silhouette. Trish then makes her way out as the lights comes back on, sliding into the ring and goes from side to side, pumping her index finger into the air.









Also from Toronto, Gail Kim is next to make her way out, sliding into the ring and stands across from Trish, giving her a knowing nod.










“Lovefurypassionenergy” comes on over the speakers and the crowd cheers wildly as Lita bounces out onto the top of the stage, flashing the Gunnz salute from side to side! She then tears down the ramp, sliding into the ring from under the bottom rope and climbs a corner, playing to the crowd.








All The Things She Said, All The Things She Said, Running Through My Head, Running Through My Head, Running Through My Head!







“All The Things She Said” by T.a.T.u. signals the arrival of the crazed Victoria. She makes her way out and stops at the top of the stage, briefly tugging at her hair before coming down the ramp and sliding into the ring, remaining on one knee and stares coldly ahead at Trish.

Can’t you… Can’t you trip like I do?








“Trip Like I Do” by Filter and Crystal Method hits the speakers, followed by the appearance of the most celebrated Women’s Champion ever, Lauren. The multi-time champion makes her way down the ramp and to the ring, looking to be more determined and focused than she has in quite a long time.


Outside referees Nick Patrick and Earl Hebner call for the bell, and this five women number one contender’s Battle Royal is officially underway! Trish and Victoria immediately start things off by rushing one another, trading right hand for right hand! The other competitors, however, are more cautious as they watch the two bitter rivals go at it, biding their time.

Gail Kim seems to have seen enough and she attempts to jump Lauren, but Lauren avoids her attack and tosses her back first into a corner, stiffing her with a chop, followed up by a Steiner like forearm! Lita moves into the corner as well, joining Lauren as she puts the boots to Gail. Lita motions for Lauren to back off, which she does. Lita now comes racing into the corner, taking Gail out of it with a monkey flip and flips herself over top of her, leveling her with heavy right hands to a pop from the crowd!

Meanwhile, Trish and Victoria are still going at it fast and furiously, neither woman giving an inch until Trish jams a thumb into Victoria’s eye. As Victoria stumbles about, Trish measures her and goes for the Trish Kick, but Victoria catches her leg and trips her up, stomping all over the blonde bombshell!

Lauren now grabs Victoria by the hair from behind, immediately going for the TKO, but Victoria spins free and takes her former mentor over with a picture perfect Northern Lights suplex. Trish is back up to her feet and she breaks up Victoria’s bridge by stomping on her stomach. She then yanks her up to her feet by her hair and chops her across the chest, moving her into the ropes and fires her across. Victoria hits the ropes and comes racing back with a lariat but Trish ducks it “Matrix” styles, sets her feet and DRILLS her with the Trish Kick once she turns around!

Trish struts past the laid out Victoria, talking some smack until Lauren spins her around into a right hand that rocks her back into the ropes. Trish rubs her mouth and stares ahead at Lauren, narrowing her eyes at her and comes racing in at full steam, but Lauren side steps her and sends Trish flailing over the top rope! Trish, however, somehow holds onto the top rope and her feet dangle above the floor before she is able to pull herself back onto the apron and roll back into the ring.

Over on the other side, Lita tosses Gail into a corner and waits for Victoria to pull herself up. As soon as Victoria reaches her knees, Lita comes racing in, leaping off her back and crunches Gail in the corner with a body splash! As soon as Gail comes stumbling out, Lita hooks her for a Twist of Fate, but Gail shoves out of it, and Lita goes stumbling forward right into Lauren’s grasp, and Lauren takes her over with a spinning belly to belly!

Gail shakes her head out and measures Victoria, waiting for her to stand. As soon as she does, she charges forward and leaps onto Victoria’s shoulders, wrapping around her shoulders with that unique submission hold! Victoria stumbles around the ring with Gail on her shoulders, screaming out in pain before dropping to a knee. Victoria fights it, however, and battles back up to her feet, stumbles towards the ropes, and tosses Gail right over them and to the floor, eliminating her!

Victoria now drops to a knee and leans against the ropes, trying to regain her composure as Trish jumps Lauren from behind. Trish hammers away on her and pulls her up to her feet, shoving her into a corner and begins to go to town with swift kicks to the mid section. Trish backs out of the corner and waits for Lauren to stumble out, and then she comes forward with a karate thrust kick, connecting with Lauren’s chin and drops her to the mat.

Trish now sets her sights on Lita, pulling her up and hits a right hand, firing her across. Lita comes racing back towards her and counters a sidewalk slam into a flipping head scissors, popping the crowd! Victoria now races forward and Lita meets her with a boot to the gut, followed up by a POWERFUL DDT! Lita is on a roll as she pulls Trish back up, attempting to fire her across but holds on, pulling her right back into a side Russian leg sweep!

Lita now nips back up to her feet and PULLS HER TOP OFF to a HUGE pop from the crowd, climbing up to the top rope. She takes a look at the carnage that she has left and decides that Lauren is the one to attack, measures her, and comes flying off with the Litacanrana, but Lauren counters it into a Powerbomb!

Lita is CRUNCHED into the mat, rolling around and grabbing the back of her head. Trish now races in behind Lauren, attempting to cradle her head and go for the Stratusfaction, but Lauren counters it into a TKO! The crowd pops as Lauren pops right back up to her feet, having taken out two of her competitors and now sets her sights on Victoria. However, Victoria comes up fighting and hits a chin buster on Lauren before hoisting her onto her shoulders for a back breaker, and then JAMS her face first into the mat with a sitout Black Widow slam!

Victoria remains seated on the mat, pulling at her hair and breaking out into a devious grin before pulling herself back up, stalking around the ring and thinking about what damage to cause next. She goes after Lita, pulling her up by the hair, but Lita fires back with a right hand, staggering her back. Lita continues her charge, getting the crowd behind her and comes off the ropes, but Victoria catches her onto her shoulders in a Samoan drop position and goes to swing her off and into a side walk slam, but Lita counters it into a spinning DDT to a HUGE pop from the crowd!

Lita pops right back up to her feet, pumping the Gunnz salute as Victoria rolls into a corner, Trish remains neutralized from the TKO, and Lauren, who pulls herself to her knees. Lita goes over to Lauren and lifts her with a body slam, slamming her into the mat. She now heads up to the top rope, setting her feet and flies off with the Litasault, but she lands directly across Lauren’s knees! Lauren then pops right back up to her feet and grabs Lita by the hair, tossing her over the top rope and to the floor like a child, eliminating her!

It’s now down to three as Lauren backs into a corner, taking a look around before going towards Trish, drilling her with a right hand. She now moves over to Victoria, rocking her back with a right hand, and then sends another to Trish, cleaning house! She fires Trish into a corner, and then follows it up by whipping Victoria right into her. As Victoria comes stumbling out, Lauren goes to fire her across by she reverses the Irish whip, and Victoria catches Lauren on the return with a Powerslam out of nowhere!

Victoria then stumbles over to Trish and fires her across, but Trish comes flying back onto her with a Thesz press, taking her into the mat and unloads with a series of right hands! Trish pops back up to her feet and is energized from that one, but she walks right into a spinning Spine Buster by Lauren!

This back and forth action just keeps going as Victoria jumps Lauren from behind, pulling her head between her legs and hoists her up for the Widow’s Peak. However, Lauren floats over and falls back into the ropes, pulling down on the top one as Victoria comes in for a lariat, flipping her OVER and to the floor, eliminating her!

The crowd is hyped up for this one now as it is down to TWO, Lauren and Trish Stratus! Trish wastes no time in attacking Lauren from behind, using the middle ropes to choke her out. Trish now climbs onto the second ropes and pulls Lauren with her by the hair, wrapping her arms around her throat and lifts her feet off the mat, choking the life out of her!

Lauren kicks her legs wildly, and Trish finally releases her, remaining perched on the second ropes with a smirk spread across her lips as Lauren crawls away on her hands and knees. Trish points down at Lauren and begins to laugh, waiting for her to stand. As soon as she does so, Trish comes off with a missile dropkick, but Lauren catches her legs and pulls up on them, turning to face a corner and slingshots Trish into it!

The crowd pops as Trish rebounds out of the corner, and right into Lauren’s grasp and the set up for a second TKO! Trish’s arms flail about, trying to escape, and she manages to rake Lauren’s eyes and spin around her, going for the Stratusfaction Bulldog! However, as soon as Trish leaps up to spring off the ropes, Lauren tosses her OVER them and onto the apron! Trish lands with one foot and grabs a hold of the ropes, dangling there as Lauren charges forwards. Trish sets her feet and throws a shoulder block through the middle ropes, bending Lauren over. Trish then sticks her head between Lauren’s legs from between the ropes and lifts forward, back dropping Lauren OVER the top rope and to the floor!


The official’s call for the bell as “Rock ‘N Roll” blasts over the speakers, awarding the number one contendership to Trish Stratus!

Trish rolls back into the ring with her eyes wide, almost in shock that she pulled out the win! She goes from side to side, throwing her index finger high above her head in celebration as Lauren looks on from the outside, staring coldly at Trish as Raw comes to a close!
