“Whatever” blasts over the speakers to a round of cheers from the fans, signaling the arrival of the “Rabid Wolverine” Chris Benoit. The Crippler makes his way down to the ring and slides inside, pacing around and gives the fans a chest pound from side to side as he awaits his opponents.









Evolution’s monster Matt Morgan is next to make his way down, entering the ring and stands across from Benoit with a grin, reminding him of what he did to him last week.









“Next Big Thing” pounds over the speakers, and Brock Lesnar appears at the top of the stage, jacking forward with a roar on his way down to the ring.


Once inside, Brock and Morgan butt chests, jawing at one another before coming to blows, and this match is officially underway! Benoit won’t be left out and he works his way between the two monsters, chopping away at the both of them! As Morgan staggers backwards, Benoit comes off the ropes with a double forearm shot to his chest, taking him down. He then ducks a Lesnar lariat and comes off the ropes with a low dropkick, taking out his knee!

Morgan stumbles back first into a corner, and Benoit is right on him, firing away with repeated chops to his chest. Brock now jumps Benoit from behind, driving a forearm shot to his back before tossing him head first over the top rope and to the floor. Brock now follows it up by ramming repeated should blocks to Morgan’s mid section in the corner, taking his feet right up off the mat! Brock takes Morgan out of the corner, trying to fire him across, but Matt reverses the whip, and as soon as Brock hits the ropes, Benoit reaches into the ring and pulls his legs out form under him, pulling him to the outside and starts to chop away at the “Manster”!

Brock takes 4 to 5 chops before breaking it up, hip tossing Benoit onto the ring steps. Morgan now follows them to the outside and mugs Lesnar from behind, shoving him shoulder first into the ring post. Brock’s head rebounds off the post and he remains leaning against it. Morgan takes advantage and charges in with a Big Boot, DRILLING Brock’s head into the ring post!

The impact sends Lesnar stumbling over the barricade and into the front row, knocked out! Morgan now pulls Benoit up into a military press position and tosses him OVER the top rope and back into the ring, showing an enormous amount of strength. He climbs onto the apron and looks inside, but Benoit pops right back up to his feet and hurries over, stepping onto the middle ropes and takes Morgan from the apron and back into the ring with a springing vertical suplex!

Benoit floats over and goes for the cover, but Morgan kicks out with authority, sending Chris rolling all the way across the ring. Morgan pops right back up to his feet and rushes Benoit, but Chris goes around him and hooks his waist, attempting a German. Morgan, however, sets his feet and fights it off, drilling Benoit upside the head with back elbow shots. As Benoit stumbles backwards and then towards him, Matt goes low and hoists Chris onto his shoulders, DRIVING him into the mat with an F5!

Brock had just pulled himself up from the floor to see this, and his eyes grow wide with anger. He immediately rolls into the ring and rushes Morgan, driving him into a corner and begins to unload with another series of should blocks. The crowd is firmly into Lesnar as he takes out his aggression on Matt, firing him across and catches him with a powerslam on the return for a two count.

Right back on their feet, Brock hoists Morgan onto his shoulders, but Morgan floats over and kicks Brock in the gut, pulling his head between his legs. However, Benoit comes back into play, jumping off the second ropes with a missile dropkick that connects with Morgan’s chin! Benoit now takes Brock over with a HUGE German suplex, rolling through for a second. As soon as Morgan makes it back to his feet, Benoit releases Brock and goes around the Evolution member, taking HIM over with another German! Benoit pops right back up to his feet, taking Brock over with a snap suplex, driving him right onto Morgan!

The crowd bursts out into VERY loud “BENOIT!” chant as the Crippler does the throat slash signal, going up to the top. He sets his feet and measures his opponents, diving off the top and aims at Lesnar with the Swandive headbutt, but Brock rolls out of the way and Benoit’s head crashes into the canvas!

Morgan now grabs Lesnar from behind and jams him into the mat with a chokeslam. He stalks around him and signals for the end, pulling Brock up to his feet, but Brock comes up out of NOWHERE with an F5, drilling Morgan into the mat! Brock pops right back up, releasing a ROAR and now goes over to Benoit, but Chris pulls him face first into the mat with a Crippler Crossface!

The majority of the crowd is behind Benoit as he locks Brock in, pulling back on his neck HARD. Brock reaches for the ropes, trying to break the hold, but Benoit does a roll and brings Brock away from the ropes, trying to make him tap! However, he spots Morgan pulling himself up out of the corner of his eye, and he releases Brock, pulling Morgan down into the Crippler Crossface now!

Benoit pulls back on his neck, wrenching it out of place and about to make Morgan tap when Brock dives into play, stomping HARD on the back of Benoit’s head! Brock now pulls Benoit up, still feeling the effects of the Crossface, and hoists him onto his shoulders, swinging him off into an F5! However, Benoit counters in mid air and brings Brock crashing into the mat with yet ANOTHER Crossface, pulling back on it as hard as he can until Brock is FORCED to TAP OUT!


“Whatever” blasts over the speakers as Chris Benoit has shocked the world, forcing Brock Lesnar to tap out!

Chris pops back up to his feet and raises his arms above his head in celebration. Morgan looks in at Benoit from the outside, holding the back of his head as Brock remains face first on the mat, holding the back of his head and kicking his feet on the mat.

Benoit climbs a corner, pounding his chest to cheers from the fans as he has certainly made his claim as a number one contender just two weeks away from the Royal Rumble!
