~The crowd cheers as we catch up with Charlie Haas backstage as he paces back and forth with his arm in a sling.~ I don’t care… I’m going out there.









~The camera then pans out to show Nat Taylor standing in front of him.~ The hell you are! Charlie, you’re hurt.

~Haas stares directly down at her with his jaw set.~ I’m going… out there.









~Shelton Benjamin stands with his arms crossed over his chest, leaning back with his head down before speaking up.~ Listen… who’s your best friend?

~Charlie raises a brow.~ What does that have to do with any—

~Shelton interrupts him.~ Just answer the question… who’s your best friend?

~Charlie shrugs.~ You.

Shelton: Who do you trust?

~Charlie sighs, shaking his head.~ You.

Shelton: Good. Now who’s going to kick Kurt Angle’s ass tonight?

~Charlie goes to say himself, but Shelton steps right up to him, staring deep into his eyes. Haas sets his jaw, and speaks through gritted teeth.~ You.

Shelton: Believe that. I’ve got him tonight, and as soon as you’re ready, you finish the job and we’re done with it.

Charlie: I need to clear my head.

~Haas then heads out of the room, leaving Shelton and Nat behind as he makes his way down the hall, but as soon as he rounds a corner, he finds himself face to face with Smackdown! new-comer Carlito “Caribbean” Cool!~













~Carlito stands in front of him, smirking with an apple in hand.~ Hey man… it’s you… Charlie Haas.

Charlie: Yeah, and what’s it to you?

~Carlito holds his hands up.~ Nothin’ man, no need to be so hostile. Carlito’s a fan of Charlie Haas, take it easy.

~Charlie shakes his head, going to walk past.~ Whatever.

~Carlito steps in his way, holding a hand up.~ Wait a minute, hold on. Carlito has something to say. Last week, what Kurt Angle did to you and Shelton Benjamin… da’s not cool. He cost you the Undisputed Tag Team Championship man, dat must sting.

Charlie: Do you have a point?

Carlito: Listen to Carlito, because Carlito is a smart guy… you can learn a thing or two. You and Shelton, you successful. What is it, three time Tag Team Champions? Da’s almost a record. But you know what’s cool, Charlie? You bangin’ Nat Taylor behind everybody’s backs… dat… da’s cool.

~Carlito then takes a bite of his apple, but rather than slink back, Charlie steps forward, not in the mood for games. Carlito pauses for a moment, and then swallows his bite.~

Carlito: What? I like you man… you’s a player like Carlito.

~Carlito smiles and extends his hand for a shake, but Haas just stares at it for a moment before turning and walking away, leaving Carlito behind.~

~Carlito watches Charlie leave.~ Whats she see in him… he’s not cool like Carlito. ~He shakes his head as we go to a commercial break.~
