The crowd pops as �Sexy Boy� blasts over the speakers, signaling the arrival of the one, the only, �The Heart Break Kid� Shawn Michaels! HBK struts out onto the top of the stage, playing to the crowd as he makes he walks partway down the ramp and drops to his knees, crossing over his chest before leaning forward in time with his pyros. He then makes his way down to the ring, entering it and unzips his chaps, lowering down with a flex for the fans.

The lights in the arena then go out as the Y2J counter counts down. Once it reaches 2, with the �Y� and the �J� on either side of it, pyros explode as �Break The Walls Down� fires over the speakers. As soon as the lights come back on, there stands the Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho, with his back to the crowd!

JR: What a night this could be for Chris Jericho, Roddy. A kid who grew up as a wrestling fan, and the one wrestler in the world that Jericho emulated his entire life, is his opponent tonight, Shawn Michaels!

Jericho climbs onto the ring apron, staring across at HBK as he enters the ring, calling for a mic and begins to speak.

Jericho: Ladies and Gentlemen� Welcome to RAAAAAW� iiiiiiiiiiiiiiis� JEEEEEEERICHOOOOOOO! ~He nods as the crowd cheers wildly.~ I just wanted to clarify something. Last week when Lance Storm and I made this little bet, one which you LOST, Lance� I hand picked YOU, Shawn, as my opponent for tonight. I hand picked you for one reason and one reason alone� because I idolized you. I�ve waited my entire career for this, and never once did I ever.. EEEEEEEEEVER� think that it would happen. But here we are, the �Showstoppa� and the KING of BLING BLING� HBK and Y2J� ONE on ONE right here LIIIIIVE! ~The crowd cheers as HBK nods, agreeing.~ But there�s something that�s not right� there�s not enough on the line; THEREFORE, right here right NOW, I�m making this match for the HEAVYWEIGHT CHAAAAAMPIIIIIIIONSHIP!

HBK�s eyes go wide as the crowd EXPLODES! Jericho tosses the mic to the side and hands the championship over, calling Michaels on! Shawn nods his head, obviously happy about this turn of events and begins to circle with Y2J.

Piper: I don�t agree with this, JR� this kid may have just made the biggest mistake of his life!

JR: But you have to give him credit� Chris Jericho has been a fighting champion, living up to the greats that came out of Stu Hart�s dungeon before him. This may not have been the greatest decision by Jericho, but my God, he�s facing his idol he�s ready to go!

They lock up and immediately break at a stalemate. They circle and jaw a little more before locking up again, and HBK pulls Jericho over and to the mat with a headlock takeover. Jericho reaches up with his legs and locks them around Michaels� head, but he quickly nips out of it and both men meet back up on their feet, meeting move for move. Jericho now takes Shawn over with an arm drag, and Shawn wraps his legs around the champion�s head, forcing him to nip out as well, and both men pop right back up to their feet.

JR: Chris Jericho is a mirror image of Shawn Michaels. This is gonna be one for the ages, and it�s for the Heavyweight Championship of the WORLD folks!

Michaels now backs into a corner, pulling himself onto the top rope and lays across it, shrugging to Jericho and tells him to try something new, that he�s boring him. The crowd begins to chant �HBK!� as Shawn gets back down, and Jericho looks over with his eyes wide, mouthing �Son of a bitch!� Jericho moves in for a lock up, but Michaels grabs a headlock and goes around him with a wrist lock. Jericho swings around him with a wrist lock of his own, but Michaels breaks it up with an elbow shot to the head. As soon as Shawn comes back towards him, Jericho goes for a hip toss but Michaels counters it, flipping Jericho over. From his back, Chris uses both of his legs to kick Shawn away and then bolts back up to his feet, grabbing him by the arm. Shawn counters and goes for a backslide, but Jericho counters him back and takes him over with a leg sweep, going for the Walls but Shawn kicks him away and rolls right back up to his feet, and we�re right back where we started from as the crowd cheers their approval!

JR: Mirror images I say, mirror images!

Piper: We know! We know! Can�t you say something new?

Jericho now runs right into another headlock takeover as HBK flips him onto the mat. Shawn avoids Y2J�s legs, but Chris is able to shift HBK�s shoulders onto the mat for a quick two count. Jericho now works his way to his feet and breaks up the headlock, coming off the ropes and running Michaels over with a shoulder block. JHe then hits the far side ropes and runs over Shawn as he drops to his stomach, and then leapfrogs Jericho on the return. However, as soon as Shawn�s feet touch the mat and he turns around, Jericho SLAPS him across the face to the �ooooh�s� from the crowd, and HBK counters with a right hand that drops the champion to his back! Jericho pops right back up to his feet and charges Michaels, but Shawn steps out of the way and tosses him OVER the top rope and to the floor!

JR: This is HBK�s night, I can feel it in my bones!

Piper: I can feel it too JR, so put it back in your pants!

Shawn now measures Jericho and uses the ropes to spring himself over; however, Jericho ducks out of the way and Shawn lands on the apron, sliding himself back into the ring from under the bottom rope. Meanwhile, Jericho has his back turned away from the ring and taps his head, letting everyone know how smart he is, that is until HBK comes racing in with a baseball slide, sending Jericho HARD into the barricade!

Michaels now rolls Jericho back into the ring, climbs to the top and flies off with a body splash, but Jericho rolls through with it for a two count. Right back on their feet, Jericho meets Shawn with a boot to the gut and a LOUD chop across his chest, firing him into the ropes and drops him with a wheel kick on the return to a pop from the crowd.

Jericho: �C�mon, BABAY!�

Michaels pulls himself up in a corner, and Y2J is right on him, lacing chops across his chest before firing him across. HBK hits the corner HARD and stumbles out, and Jericho fires him BACK across the ring to the other side. As soon as Shawn rebounds out of the corner, Chris comes off the ropes behind him and goes for a face buster, but Michaels lifts him off the mat and sends him crashing balls first into the corner! Jericho scrambles away from the ropes, and then HBK locks on the Figure Four Leg Lock!

The crowd �Woooooo�s� for the hold until Jericho can turn it over. As soon as it�s broken, they meet back up on their feet and HBK takes Jericho up and down on his knee with a chin breaker. Jericho hits the mat, and HBK goes back to the Figure Four, but Jericho shoves out of it and Michaels goes shoulder first into the ring post! Jericho now grabs HBK by the hair and tosses him over the top rope, but HBK skins the cat and wraps his legs around Y2J�s head, flipping him over and to the outside, followed up by a springing body splash onto Jericho on the floor!

The crowd cheers loudly as HBK sells his back before pulling Jericho up, drilling him with a right hand. Shawn fires another right hand away, sending Chris stumbling onto the ramp. Shawn measures him and goes for the Sweet Chin Music, but Jericho blocks it and trips him up, turning him into the Walls of Jericho! The crowd is going WILD as the official starts his mandatory count, and once he reaches 8, Jericho releases the Walls and slides in and out of the ring, breaking up the count!

The champion pulls HBK up into a body slam position, and then runs him back first into the ring post not once, but twice before slamming him onto the floor and sliding back into the ring, getting a mixed reaction from the fans as he struts around. Jericho plays to the crowd as HBK struggles to pull himself up. As soon as he gets up on the apron, Jericho springs out of the corner with a dropkick, taking him right back down! Jericho now measures HBK and springs himself over the top rope, giving Shawn a dose of his own medicine!

Jericho slides Shawn back into the ring and goes for the cover, getting a two count. He pulls Shawn up by the hair and brings him crashing back down to the mat with a back suplex, covering for another two count! Shawn grimaces in pain, rubbing his back as Jericho zeros in on it, pulling him up into a stalling vertical suplex and jams him back into the mat! The champion now places a foot across Shawn�s chest and flexes as the ref gets a two count to a mixed reaction from the crowd!

JR: These fans are split 50/50, they can�t make up their minds!

Piper: I gotta tell ya Jim, I LIKE this Jericho. He doesn�t care if he pisses off the crowd, he�s just kicking some ass and loving every second of it!

Jericho pulls Shawn back up and laces another chop across his chest before firing him across, attempting a back body drop but Shawn stalls in mid air, keeping a hold of Y2J�s head and brings him down to the mat with a STUNNING DDT!! Both men now lie down and out as the ref begins his mandatory count, and the fans are split between �Y2J� and �HBK� chants!

Both men struggle up to their feet and meet in the middle, trading right hands. Michaels takes the advantage and fires Jericho across, but Y2J comes flying in off the ropes with a forearm shot that floors him! Half of the arena then pops and the other half boos as Jericho nips up to his feet a la Shawn Michaels, and then crouches down into an HBK flex! The other half of the arena then cheers as HBK himself nips up, turning Jericho around into a right hand. Jericho then reverses an Irish whip, but this time it�s HBK who comes off the ropes with a flying forearm, nipping directly up to his feet and is now on a roll!

He catches the stumbling Jericho with an inverted atomic drop, and then runs him over with a clothesline. HBK now goes up to the top rope and waits for Jericho to stand, and as soon as he does so, he flies off with a moonsault, taking Y2J back down to the mat for a CLOSE two count!

Right back on their feet, Jericho fires off a chop in defense, and Michaels fires one of his own off, and they trade shots, chop for chop! The crowd is firmly into this match as Jericho breaks it up with a thumb to the eye and fires HBK across, but Shawn floats around Jericho with a crusafix and rotates down into a sunset flip for a two count! Jericho kicks his legs up and hooks Shawn�s, sitting on his chest and pulls up on his legs for a two count! Shawn counters by spinning Jericho down to his back, pinning his shoulders there with his legs for a two count! Jericho now does a backwards roll free and immediately grabs Shawn by the legs, going for the Walls of Jericho!

HBK struggles, and he is able to power out and make Jericho do a full flip down to the mat. Right back to their feet, Chris ducks a haymaker and takes Shawn over with a Northern Lights suplex, but as soon as the official gets to two, Shawn powers straight up! Shawn now switches it for a backslide, but his back gives out on it and Jericho tries one of his own. HBK blocks it as well, so Jericho comes off the ropes and drops him with a clothesline. Chris falls back into the ropes, waiting HBK up before rushing him from behind and JAMMING him into the mat with a face buster! The crowd gets to their feet as Jericho springs off the ropes with the Lion Sault, CRUSHING Shawn and hooks the leg for the one, two, TWO! HBK kicks out!

Jericho is LIVID as the crowd EXPLODES! Shawn holds his back as he crawls towards the ropes, trying to find a way to get back into this one. Chris pulls him up and goes to fire him across, but HBK reverses the whip and leaps up for a Hurricanrana as Jericho returns, but Chris holds firm and counters it into the Walls of Jericho!

JR: MY GOD! MY GOD! This one is OVER! Jericho has beaten everybody in the game, INCLUDING The Game with this hold!

Jericho SCREAMS at Patrick to �ASK HIM! ASK HIM!� as Shawn scrapes and claws his way to the ropes, forcing Jericho to break the hold! Y2J is relentless, however, and he drags the challenger away from the ropes, and the challenger then almost becomes the champion as he pulls Jericho into a small package for a VERY close two count!

Jericho pops right back up to his feet and kicks HBK in the head, and then STOMPS on his back. Jericho now stumbles towards the ropes and pulling himself up to the top, waits for Shawn to stand, and then comes flying off with a roaring elbow, drilling him across the jaw! The champion now goes and stands in a corner, stomping on the mat and tuning up the band, waiting for Michaels to stand! Jericho does a two step and then moves in, DRILLING HBK with his own Sweet Chin Music! The crowd is in complete shock as HBK lies down and out. Jericho drops to his knees and holds his head in shock himself at what he just did, and then he lays across Michaels for the one, two, TWO! Shawn kicks out!

Jericho can�t believe it, and he begins to question just WHY he put the belt on the line in the first place! HBK drags himself to a corner and struggles to pull himself up, and Jericho meets him there, drilling him with a shot to the head and then a chop before firing him across. HBK stops himself from hitting the far corner by leaping onto the ropes, springing back onto Jericho as he charges with a cross body that lays him out! Rather than go for a cover, HBK gets all energized and fires away with a succession of rights to the champions head!

The fans then begin to make some noise as JEFF JARRETT walks out onto the top of the stage, giving a head nod down to HBK as he struggles up to his feet. As Shawn is momentarily distracted by Jarrett, Jericho dives onto him from behind, ramming forearm shots to his back. Jericho now hoists HBK onto the top rope, following him up and preps him for a back suplex from the top, but HBK counters in mid air and lands square across Y2J�s chest! The crowd doesn�t know what else to think about this match as Shawn covers for the one, two, TWO! Jericho kicks out!

HBK doesn�t let the kick out faze him as he immediately heads out onto the apron, climbing up to the top. He takes one look out to Jarrett as he sets his feet, but Jericho hurries over, shaking the ropes and crotching him there! Chris now climbs up and sets him up for s Superplex, but HBK counters it into a flapjack, and Jericho lands face first onto the mat! Michaels now sets his feet and flies off with a patented elbow drop, landing square across the champion�s heart and pops right back up to his feet, bouncing around the ring and tuning up the band!

Michaels waits Jericho up, and as soon as he stands, he moves in for the kill, but Jericho catches his foot and spins him around, taking his legs out from under him and turns him over into the Walls! The crowd is up in arms as Michaels scrapes and claws for the ropes, but Jericho has it synched in tightly and he goes to tap as Jarrett makes his way down, jawing at HBK and asking him if he�s man enough to take it! Shawn grinds his teeth and battles through the pain, glaring at Jarrett as he claws towards the ropes, making them!

Jericho is FURIOUS as he has been forced to break the hold, pulling at his hair! Jericho breaks the hold and jaws at Jarrett, telling him to get lost and then turns back to HBK, walking directly into the Sweet Chin Music from out of NOWHERE! HBK drops down onto Jericho, hooking the near leg for the one, two, THREE!

�Sexy Boy� blasts over the speakers as HBK floats over to his knees, and the crowd is in complete shock because Jericho VISIBLY kicked out! Patrick immediately waves the music and the win off, affirming that it was a TWO count!

Jericho drags his beaten body to a corner and attempts to pull himself up as Patrick explains everything to HBK. Shawn finally pulls himself up as well and stumbles towards Jericho, falling against his chest and leans off of him to hit a right hand. Neither man can stand on his own at this point as Michaels attempts to fire him across, but HBK reverses the Irish whip and Shawn hits the corner hard, doing a full flip before landing back in the ring! HBK stumbles backwards and Jericho takes him up with a back suplex, but Shawn does a full flip and lands on his feet, going for another Sweet Chin Music but Jericho swings around him with a cradle for a one, two, THREE!

�Break The Walls Down� blasts over the speakers as Patrick lays the championship across Jericho�s chest. Jarrett looks on from the outside, and then the crowd makes some noise as TRIPLE H runs him over form behind, sending him crashing head first into the ring steps!

Hunter now slides into the ring and snatches the championship from a worn out Chris Jericho, looking hard at it. Next thing he knows, DAVID Flair swings him around, takes the belt, and LAYS HIM OUT WITH IT! David now stares at the championship, waits for HBK to stumble out, and then he drills HIM across the head with it to a round of boos from the fans!

As David begins to stare at the championship once more, Jericho surprises him by taking his legs out from under him, turning him into the Walls! David is SCREAMING out in pain, but the hold is broken by a LANCE STORM shuffle kick that knocks Jericho out!

Lance now picks up the belt, looking down on it and all of the men in the ring, but he is then taken face first into the mat by a recovering Jeff Jarrett and a Stroke! Jarrett now picks up the championship to a pop from the crowd and looks it over before raising it above his head, and then lays it across Jericho�s chest as the camera zooms in on the champion and all of the carnage as Monday Night Raw goes off the air!
