The crowd erupts as the enigma, Rey Mysterio comes shooting out from the ramp, landing in a crouched position and makes his way down to the ring, climbing up the ropes and does a rolling 360 sign to cheers from the fans!





I Do It For The Druuuugs! I Do It Just To Feeeeel Aliiiiiiive!








“Bottom of a Bottle” by Smile Empty Soul comes on over the speakers, bringing out former Tag Team Champion, Chris “The Future” Sabin! Sabin holds a fist above his head before coming down the ramp and into the ring, looking across at Mysterio as he holds the V1 sign above his head.


The official calls for the bell as the two circle one another, locking up. Sabin quickly takes Mysterio over with an arm drag. Rey pops right back up to his feet and they lock up once more, and Sabin takes him over with a second arm drag, both men popping right back up to their feet. A little caught by surprise, Rey adjusts his mask and moves in once more. Sabin quickly goes around him with a waist lock, holding firm and lifts Rey off the mat and jams him face first down.

Mysterio keeps moving and is right back on his feet, still trapped in Sabin’s grip. Rey then stomps on his toes, breaking the hold and rushes forward, coming tearing towards him and goes for a spinning DDT, but Sabin holds on and takes Mysterio over with a Northern Lights Suplex, bridging up for a two count!

The crowd is surprised at how Sabin is out maneuvering Mysterio at every turn, and no one is more surprised than Mysterio as he stumbles back into a corner. Future is right on him, racing in, but Mysterio ducks him and backdrops Sabin up high! However, Future lands feet first on the top ropes, so Rey trips him up, dropping him crotch first! Rey then immediately rushes up the ropes and takes Future off of them with a Hurricanrana! He goes for the cover, but Sabin kicks out at TWO!

Rey now waits for Chris to get to his knees, and he comes off the ropes with a low dropkick to the jaw! As Future flattens out on the mat, Mysterio quickly lunges in at him with an Oklahoma roll for a two count! Right back on their feet, Sabin ducks a Rey right hand and goes to take him over with a back suplex, but Mysterio flips right over him and onto his feet, bouncing off the ropes and comes jumping onto his shoulders, going for a Victory roll!

However, Sabin spins Rey around into a Hurricanrana position, and then flips him off, kicking him in the gut immediately and lifts him for an Outsider Edge, but he switches it up at the last second and DRIVES Rey into a flipping back breaker!

Mysterio is jammed into the mat and rolls around on his back, clutching the back of his head! Sabin is then quick to springs up onto the top rope, popping the crowd as he comes off with a lightning fast Shooting Star Press, but Rey moves out of the way and Sabin lands flat on the mat!

The crowd cringes from the landing as Mysterio rolls out onto the apron, springing up to the top rope and comes off, Dropping the Dime on the back of Sabin’s head, covering for the one, two, TWO! Sabin kicks out!

The crowd begins a mini “Hail Sabin” chant as Rey waits for him to stand, coming off the ropes and goes for a reverse dropkick, but Future catches him and takes him over with a HIGH hanging German suplex! The crowd is firmly into this match as Chris goes for the cover, but this time it’s Mysterio who rolls out at the last second! Future now pulls Rey up to his feet, taking him over with a snap suplex. He holds on and pulls Rey into a belly-to-belly now, holding on and going for the nail in the coffin, the Future Shock!

However, Mysterio floats over and lands on his feet, and then takes Sabin down with a drop-toe-hold, and Chris lands throat first across the middle ropes! Rey then comes roaring in, going for the 6-1-9, but Sabin ducks it and grabs Rey by the waist, but Rey quickly rushes the ropes, dropping down and sending Future crashing to the outside!

Rey then climbs out onto the apron and waits for Chris to stand, and as soon as he does so, he comes springing off the ropes with an Assai moonsault! The crowd pops, chanting “U-C-DUB!” as these two are letting it all hang out in this opening match!

Back in the ring now, Rey goes to fire Sabin across, but Chris reverses the Irish whip and charges in after him; however, Rey latches onto the ropes and attempts to flip over the oncoming Future, but his feet land on Chris’ shoulders, and Sabin is quick to toss them over the top rope! Rey, however, lands feet first on the apron and throws a shoulder block through the middle ropes that backs Sabin off, and Chris falls knees first near the ropes to the right. The crowd begins to chant “619” as Mysterio then comes racing in, swinging around the ring post and DRILLS him with the 6-1-9!!

The crowd goes WILD as Sabin goes flopping across the ring, and Mysterio does the 360 rolling sign and waits for Sabin to stand, springing up onto the top rope and flying off with the West Coast Pop! However, Future holds Mysterio up and avoids the flipping Hurricanrana. He walks around the ring with him as Rey begins to pound away at his head, but Future lifts Rey HIGH off his shoulders, almost into a Last Ride, but Rey floats over him with a sunset flip, turning it into the Torrito Bomb (Sunset Flip Bomb), DRIVING Sabin into the mat for the one, two THREE!


The crowd ROARS as Mysterio has defeated Chris Sabin in Raw’s opening match!
