Fire blares up from all around the entranceway as “Slow Chemical” pounds over the speakers, signaling the arrival through hell, fire, and brimstone, the number one contender, Kane! Kane comes marching down the ramp and to the ring with a black towel over his head, stepping inside from over the top rope and tosses the towel aside, looking as confident and ready as ever after dismantling Jericho a few weeks ago.






After a few moments, the lights in the arena go out, followed out by the beginning of the Y2J counter that counts down over the big screen, and once the “Y” and the “J” are on either side of the 2, pyros explode as “Break The Walls Down” blasts over the speakers, and once the lights come back on, there appears Chris Jericho with the Heavyweight Championship around his waist, marching directly to the ring with purpose!







Jericho un-straps the championship as he slides into the ring and charges towards Kane, ducking a big boot and comes flying off the ropes with a belt shot to the head! Kane drops down to the mat like a sack of potatoes, and the official calls for the bell, passing the title off to the outside. Meanwhile, Jericho springs off the ropes with the Lion Sault but lands on his feet as Kane rolls out of the way; however, his knee gives out on him, and he stumbles right into a Chokeslam! As soon as Kane lifts him into the air, Jericho jams a thumb into the monster’s eye out of desperation!

Kane stumbles around the ring, blinking repeatedly, and as soon as he turns to face Jericho, Y2J flips him off and calls him on! “C’MON YOU UGLY SON OF A BITCH!” This prompts Kane to rush Jericho, but the champion drops low and pulls the top rope with him, and Kane goes right over the top rope and to the floor, but he lands on his feet! Kane’s eyes go wide and he immediately climbs back on the apron, but Jericho takes him directly back down to the floor with a springing dropkick out of the corner!

The crowd is firmly behind Jericho as he measures Kane, springing over the top rope with a cross body, but the challenger catches him and rams him spine first into the ring post! Kane then grabs him by the hair and sends him flying legs first into the ring steps with a hip toss!

Jericho hits hard and grabs his knee in a tremendous amount of pain, rolling around on the mat as Kane begins to laugh sadistically, stalking in after him. Kane pulls Jericho up and lifts him by the knee, taking a running start and goes to ram it directly into the ring post, but Y2J floats over and shoves Kane head first into the post out of desperation!

Kane stumbles away from the post and falls to a knee, shaking his head out. As soon as he pulls himself up, Jericho kicks his leg out and takes a running start, leaping onto the ring steps and flies off of them with an enzaguri to the back of Kane’s head! The crowd pops LOUDLY for the high impact moves as Kane goes flying over the Smackdown announce desk and onto Heyman and Jax!

Heyman SHRIEKS and tosses his head set to the ground, sprinting away from ringside and as far away from Kane as he can possibly get! As Kane attempts to climb back over the table, Jericho picks up a steel chair and RAMS it into the monster’s kneecap! Referee Nick Patrick threatens to DQ Jericho, but Chris flips him the bird and tells him to go right ahead!

Chris then climbs onto the table and attempts to pull Kane’s legs out from under him and go for the Walls of Jericho, but Kane backdrops Jericho off of the table and onto the time keepers table, the impact sounding the bell! Kane now descends from the table and grabs Y2J by the hair, tossing him back into the ring and climbs up to the top rope, but the time that it takes him to set his bad knee up allows Jericho to dive into the ropes, crotching Kane up top!

Jericho now hammers away at Kane’s head, climbing up the ropes after him and attempts a Superplex, but Kane begins to fight him off. As Jericho teeters on the top, Kane wraps his hand around the champion’s throat and takes him off of the top rope and DEEP into the mat with a Chokeslam that sends Jericho straight to hell! The crowd makes a LOT of noise for the impact, but they soon go quiet as they can sense Jericho’s championship run coming to an end!













Christian now comes racing down the ramp, climbing onto the apron and takes a right hand from Kane that sends him to the floor! Kane now stalks behind Jericho and raises his hand above his head, moving in for the kill! As soon as Y2J somehow pulls himself up, Kane wraps his hand around his throat and goes for another Chokeslam, but Jericho floats over him with a sunset flip and grabs a hold of the top rope for the one, two, TWO! Kane kicks out!

It’s now Jericho who somehow musters up the energy to stalk Kane, waiting for him to stand, and he takes a running chop block to his knee! As Kane falls to a knee, Y2J comes off the ropes with a running enzaguri, pasting Kane across the back of the head one more time and goes for the cover, getting a one, two, TWO! Christian pulls the ref out of the ring and clobbers him with a right hand!

The fans immediately begin to BOOM with boos, but Christian quickly pulls at his hair and shakes his head, thinking that it was Kane going for the cover! Jericho looks and points down at Christian, asking him what in the hell he thinks he’s doing! Christian attempts to explain himself, and Jericho ducks out of the way and takes Kane down with a drop-toe-hold as he came up from behind. Kane lands throat first across the middle ropes and Jericho does a two-step before coming off the ropes and goes to crunch Kane, but Christian pulls Kane out of the way and Jericho goes nuts first into the ropes!

Christian now reaches up and BLASTS Jericho with a right hand between the eyes, backing off and wiping his hands clean of Y2J with a grin! Christian begins to slowly walks backwards up the ramp as Kane pulls himself up, grinning as he grabs Jericho by the hair, hoisting him upside down for a Tombstone!

Earl Hebner now rushes down to the ring, ready to count the three once Jericho is drilled into the mat, but Y2J somehow floats over and shoves Kane right into Hebner, sending Earl crashing to the outside! Jericho then drops down to a knee and hits Kane with a low blow, and as Kane stumbles around the ring, the champion comes up behind him with a face buster into the mat!

Christian now races back to ringside, grabbing the Heavyweight Championship and climbs onto the apron, but Jericho springs out of the corner with a dropkick, sending Christian crashing to the floor! Jericho then wields the championship belt that came sailing into the ring, and as soon as Kane stands, he BLASTS him across the head with it! Nick Patrick pulls himself together and slides back into the ring just in time as Jericho springs off the ropes with the Lion Sault, landing square across Kane and covers for the one, two, THREE!


“Break The Walls Down” hits back over the speakers as Chris Jericho has successfully retained the Heavyweight Championship! Jericho is handed the belt and slides to the outside, clutching it to his chest as he stumbles back up the ramp, leaving Christian behind on the outside to throw a tantrum!

Meanwhile, Kane sits up in the ring with his eyes wide and is EXTREMELY pissed off! He pulls himself to his feet and sees Christian standing on the outside. He reaches over the top rope and grabs Christian by the hair, pulling him right onto the apron and clasps him by the throat, taking him OVER the top rope and into the ring with a Chokeslam that turns the CLB inside out!















All four member of Team Canada now come racing down the ramp, sliding into the ring one at a time and all are met by right hands, lariats, and a Big Boot by Kane! Kane is on a mission as he grabs D’Amore by the throat, jacking him into the mat! He then clasps Petey Williams and follows suit, slamming him into D’Amore! Rude and Young meet the same fate and Kane then raises his arms above his head and brings them crashing down, making fire blare up from all four ring posts to a huge pop from the crowd!
