The crowd has a mixed reaction as Eddie’s theme blasts over the speakers, but they soon begin to cheer as he drives out next to the stage from the back in a customized Latino Heat Low Rider! Eddie parks partway down the ramp and stands up from the convertible top, shimmies from side to side before getting the hydraulics pumping! He then enters the ring and climbs a corner, shimmying with a grin plastered across his face.

R-E-Y MYSTERIO! HERE WE GO!







The crowd then pops even more as Rey Mysterio comes shooting out from the ramp, landing in a crouched position and spins before making his way down the ramp! He stops next to the Low Rider and nods his head, giving Eddie the mint sign before sliding into the ring, making his way up a corner and crosses over his chest, doing a 450 rolling sign to the crowd!


The official then raises the United States Championship high above his head, showing Eddie, Rey, and the world what half of the SD! Roster has been fighting for over the past month. He then hands the title to the outside and calls for the bell, and the tournament finals is underway!

Eddie and Rey circle one another, pounding fists before moving in for a lock-up; however, much like in their last contest, Rey ducks low and avoids all contact. Rey Rey bounces on his toes as Eddie stands in place, shaking his head and points over at Rey, wagging a finger. They move in once more, and once again, Rey goes low, but this time Eddie drops down onto him with a waist lock, trying to hold him in place. Rey leans back against Eddie’s chest and tries to power his way out before taking a running start, circling the ring before going to drop low to send Guerrero to the outside, but Eddie grabs a hand full of mask and pulls Rey back of the head first into the mat!

The crowd boos for the cheap shot as Rey looks up at Eddie while holding the back of his head, and Eddie shrugs his shoulders, calling Rey Rey back on. They circle again and lock-up, and Eddie quickly pulls Rey into a side headlock. Rey then rushes the ropes, springing his feet off the top one and flips right out of Eddie’s grip and behind him, following it up by a dropkick to his butt, sending him chest first across the middle ropes! The crowd then pops as Rey comes charging in for the 6-1-9, but Eddie rolls out of the way and Rey gets nothing but air! As soon as Rey’s feet hit the mat in the ring, Eddie meets him with a boot to the mid section, and then follows it up with a lightning fast brain buster!

Eddie goes for a quick cover, but Rey rolls out at the count of two. Eddie quickly pulls Rey to his feet and leans him against the ropes, chopping him across the chest before firing him across, ducking his head on the return; however, Rey leaps over Eddie and locks his legs around his arms, and then with one quick spin, he JAMS Eddie into the mat with the Torrito flipping Powerbomb for a close two count!

As Eddie sits up on his ass, shaking his head out, Mysterio comes off the ropes with a low dropkick to his mouth! With Eddie laid out, Mysterio rushes the corner, springing off the top rope with a split-legged moonsault for another two count! Rey pulls Eddie up by the head, but Guerrero battles back with a shot to the gut and follows it up by going for a back body drop, but Rey spins free and lands on his feet, ducks a lariat attempt and rushes the ropes, springing off of them with a moonsault, but Latino Heat counters it into a gut buster!!

Rey rolls up into a ball on the mat as Eddie backs off into a corner, shaking his head out. Eddie climbs out onto the apron and measures Mysterio before flipping into the ring with a senton splash for another close fall. Eddie now pulls Rey up and into a snap suplex, popping his hips and rolls through with a second, and then a third! Eddie pops back up to his feet to some rumbling from the fans and shimmies his shoulders from side to side, making his way out to the top rope and then flies off with the Frog splash, but Rey moves out of the way!

The crowd pops as both men struggle up to their feet, and as soon as they do so, Eddie charges Mysterio, but Rey takes him down with a drop-toe-hold! Eddie falls throat first across the middle ropes once more, and Rey comes roaring in for another 6-1-9, and this time Eddie pulls the official into the path and Rey DRILLS him on the spin! The fans boo loudly as the ref takes a nasty bump, and as soon as Rey’s feet land on the apron, Eddie grabs him and goes to suplex him back into the ring, but Rey counters it and sends Guerrero to the outside!

As Eddie pulls himself back up to his feet, the crowd pops as Mysterio springs off the ropes with the Assai moonsault, landing square on Eddie! Rey goes rolling off of Guerrero and to his feet, doing the 450 spin motion before rolling back into the ring, in firm control! As Rey tends to the official, trying to get him back into things, Eddie drags himself to the timekeeper’s table and grabs the US championship belt. He then stumbles back into the ring, concealing the championship as Rey comes over towards him. Eddie then comes up and goes for the belt shot, but Rey sees it coming and ducks it, kicks Eddie in the gut, and goes for a DDT!

However, Eddie spins with the DDT and drops Rey stomach first across the top rope! As soon as Eddie comes closer, Rey throws a shoulder block through the middle ropes, backing Eddie up. The crowd then pops as Rey springs up to the ropes, going for the West Coast Pop, but CHAVO GUERRERO comes from out of nowhere and trips him up! As Rey comes crashing back into the ring, Eddie DRILLS him across the head with the championship!!

The crowd BOOMS with boos as Chavo ducks down low and out of site, and Eddie looks down at Rey, holding the championship and shrugs his shoulders. However, as soon as he sees the referee pulling himself up, Eddie drops the belt between he and Rey and throws himself down to the mat, playing dead!

The official pulls himself up and takes a look at both men down on the mat, and then begins the count. As he reaches six, Eddie pulls himself up quickly and goes right up to the top rope, pounds his chest, and then flies off with the Frogsplash, hitting it dead on! He hooks the leg, and the fans then continue to boo as the ref counts the one, two, TWO! Rey kicks out!

The crowd then EXPLODES as Mysterio will just not stay down! Chavo can’t believe it on the outside, slamming his hands against the ring apron and pulls on the curtain, throwing a fit! Eddie’s eyes bug out of his head as he shakes his head no, not knowing what to do next! He pulls Rey up by the mask, but Rey comes up fighting, drilling Eddie with right hands! Eddie falls backwards and then charges forward, and Rey steps out of the way, letting Guerrero run into Chavo as he hopped onto the apron!

Eddie then stumbles backwards and Rey rolls him up, but Eddie shrugs out at two! As the official turns his back to the action to yell at Chavo, Mysterio comes racing in from behind him and leaps OVER him AND the ropes, crashing onto Chavito on the outside! Rey then slides back into the ring and stalks towards Eddie, and with the refs back turned once more, Eddie kicks Rey in the gut and DRILLS him into the title belt with a spike DDT! Rey’s body straightens out in mid air and then flattens out onto the mat, and Eddie pulls up on the leg for the one, two, THREE!


“Lie, Cheat, and Steal” blasts over the speakers as Eddie Guerrero is UCW’s first ever United States Champion!

Chavo slides back into the ring and shares a hug with his uncle as the fans boo loudly. Eddie clutches the championship close to his chest before looking down at Rey, shrugs his shoulders with a grin and then STOMPS on his head!

Los Guerrero’s then exit the ring, making their way back into the Low Rider and celebrate their way to the back!
