“H-B-K” flashes over the big screen as “Sexy Boy” tears over the speakers, bringing the fans to their feet as the Showstoppa makes his way out, Shawn Michaels! He stops partway down the ramp and drops down to his knees, crossing over his chest before bowing forward as pyros blares up from behind him! He then makes his way down to the ring and steps inside, bouncing around the ring before stripping out of his chaps and dropping down to a knee, flexing for the fans in the arena, and into the camera for the fans watching at home.






Time To Play The Game!

TIME TO PLAY THE GAAAAAAAAME!







The lights in the arena begin to flash as the Heavyweight Champion appears at the top of the stage, standing with his head lowered and his arms to the side. Hunter pours water over his head before lifting it up, spitting water out on his way down to the ring. Once at ringside, he stands on the apron and waits for his cue before spewing water out into the third row before entering the ring and going to a corner, releasing a roar as he stretches his arms up above his head!


Triple H then steps forward, going nose to nose with HBK and chewing his gum calmly in the center of the ring. Shawn walks right up to him, standing across from him, and in one quick motion, he SLAPS the gum right out of Hunter's mouth to a HUGE pop from the crowd! Hebner then calls for the bell as Triple H stumbles back from the slap, and HBK goes right on the attack, giving him elbow shots that send him into the ropes. Shawn whips him off and gets shoulder blocked to the canvas on the champions return.

Triple H keeps running the ropes and comes off. HBK leapfrogs him and waits until the Game turns around, nailing him with a fist. This one staggers the champion back as Shawn rushes the ropes, coming off with another fist that lays him out. HHH gets up to his feet and gets caught with a chop that would make the Nature Boy proud! Helmsley stumbles back into the corner and Shawn rockets right in with a body splash! Triple H lays there as HBK leaps right onto the 2nd turnbuckle and leans over him. He pauses and starts a series of punches as the crowd counts along!


1! 2! 3! 4! 5! 6! 7! 8! 9!


HBK stops and does a DX chop before nailing the 10th fist! He drops off of the ropes and watches as Helmsley stumbles forward, taking a step to the right, and the left and then falling face first into the canvas! Michaels rolls him over with his foot and then starts for the corner, climbing up to the top turnbuckle. He perches for a moment and then skies off with a flying elbow drop that lands true, right in the HEART of the champion!

Triple H flops on the canvas, holding his chest and feels his leg get pulled back as the fans go rabid from the maneuver. Shawn holds his shoulder down and gets 1....2.....Th...NO!!! HHH shrugs his shoulder out at the last second!

HBK sits up and squirrels around him, squatting down over him and delivering a series of punches to his forehead. Shawn pulls him up by the hair and whips him to the ropes. HBK backs up and comes off with another aimed elbow shot, but HHH sees this one coming and ducks his head, catching HBK in midair and using his momentum to PLOW him into the mat with a Spinning Double A Spine Buster!

Michaels is driven hard into the mat and clutches the back of his head as Hunter rolls away from him, using the ropes to prop himself up as he rubs his sore, bright red chest. The champion is now the hunter as he stalks in after HBK as Shawn crawls towards the ropes, ramming a knee into his back. Shawn falls throat first across the middle ropes and Hunter uses it to his advantage, jamming his knee into the back of the challengers head and chokes him out, only releasing on the five count!

Shawn rolls back into the middle of the ring, rubbing his neck and HHH backs into a corner, does a DX crotch chop of his own, and then come sin with a jumping knee to the top of Shawn’s head! Hunter then rams his forearm onto Shawn’s chin as he goes for the cover, but HBK is out at the count of two. Triple H now mounts Michaels, ramming repeated fists to his head before pulling him up by the hair and leans him in a corner, firing him across and chases in right after him! However, Hunter runs right into a boot to the mouth, and HBK then fires Hunter across, and Triple H flips right OVER the top rope and goes crashing to the outside floor!

The crowd pops as HBK begins to feel it, and as Hunter attempts to pull himself together on the outside, Shawn climbs up to the top rope and turns his back to the crowd, and then he flies off with a moonsault onto the champion on the floor! The crowd begins to chant “HBK” as Shawn rolls him back into the ring, hooking the leg for the one, two, TWO! Hunter kicks out!

The champion crawls to a corner and pulls himself up, and HBK meets him there with a STIFF chop across the chest! Shawn begins to lay into him with chops before firing him across to the other side, and HBK does a full flip in the corner before falling feet first back into the ring, and he walks right into a boot to the gut and a double under hook! However, Michaels pulls Triple H’s legs out from under him and slingshots him into the corner, and Hunter’s head bounces off the ring post before he goes stumbling backwards and right into a schoolboy, and HBK even hooks the tights for the one, two, TWO! Hunter kicks out again!

Triple H now crawls away in desperation, stopping near the ropes and begins to beg off as Shawn stalks in after him. As soon as HBK approaches, Hunter grabs him by the waist band and pulls him head first to the outside! Hunter now crawls into the middle of the ring and uses Hebner to pull himself up, and while the ref is distracted, RIC FLAIR hurries down the ramp, pulling Shawn to his feet and CHOPS him across the chest, and then follows it up with a punt to the balls!

Flair now rolls HBK back into the ring and holds his hands up, playing the innocent! Hunter now zooms in on the challenger, immediately locking in an Indian Death Lock! Michaels screams out in pain as Hunter goes back and forth with it, applying as much pressure as he can! The champion finally releases the submission and pulls Shawn to his feet, just to take him back down with a right hand.

Triple H now has all of the confidence in the world as he grabs one of Shawn’s legs, pulling him up to his one foot; however, HBK then fires forward with an enzaguri, flattening the champion face first into the mat! HBK then traps Hunter in the FIGURE FOUR LEG LOCK to a HUGE pop from the crowd!

Hunter sells the submission hold as though he was just tazzered, SCREAMING out in pain! Ric is going NUTS on the outside, stomping up and down and pulling on the ring apron! Ric then hops onto the apron, and Hebner comes right over, ordering him back down to the floor! Meanwhile, with Hebner’s back turned to the action, HBK latches onto the bottom rope for some extra added leverage, releasing it as soon as Hebner turns back to the ring!

Michaels finally lets Hunter go and backs off into a corner, tuning up the band as Hunter attempts to reach his feet! As soon as Hunter stands, HBK goes to move forward, but Flair latches onto his ankle like a Pit-bull! As Shawn struggles to free his foot, Hunter charges in, but HBK ducks out of the way and then leaps at hunter with a clothesline, sending them BOTH over the top rope!

However, as The Game crashes to the floor, Michaels skins the cat and pulls himself right back into the ring! He waits, measures Hunter and Flair, and then springs himself over the top rope, crashing into the both of them! Shawn pops right back up to his feet and rolls Hunter back into the ring, all revved up and ready to take this one home! Shawn slides in after Hunter and moves in for the Sweet Chin Music, but Hunter catches his foot and spins him around, kicks him in the gut and goes for the Pedigree! However, Shawn takes him down with a double leg takedown and then flips right over him, hooking both legs for the one, two, TWO! Hunter kicks out again!

Shawn pops right back up to his feet, and then he turns on a dime and he DRILLS the onrushing Ric Flair with the Sweet Chin Music! However, as the crowd pops as Hebner rolls Flair to the outside, Hunter comes in from behind HBK with a low blow! The crowd then boos LOUDLY as Triple H double under hooks him, and then they BOOM with boos as he DRIVES Shawn face first into the mat with the Pedigree! Hunter hooks the leg, and Hebner slides into position, counting the one, two, THREE!


“Play The Game” blasts over the speakers as Triple H is handed the Heavyweight Championship, turning back the challenge of the Heart Break Kid!

Hunter rolls to the outside and collects Flair, kissing him on the head for all of the help and they celebrate their way to the back, leaving HBK broken hearted in the middle of the ring, laid out!
