The lights in the arena go out, and the fans begin to cheer loudly as the Y2J counter begins to count down over the Titantron. Once it reaches 2, with the "Y" and the J" around it, pyros blare as "Break The Walls Down" blasts over the speakers, and the fans EXPLODES as Chris Jericho appears once the lights come back on, with his back to the crowd!










Jericho makes his way down the ramp, climbing onto the ring apron and lion walks along it before stepping inside, playing to the crowd as he awaits the champion.








Time To Play The Game!

TIME TO PLAY THE GAAAAAAME!







Lemmy's laugh rips over the speakers as Triple H's entrance video and flashes come on the screen. Triple H himself walks out onto the entrance ramp, his head bowed and the Heavyweight Championship shining in the darkened light. The Game pauses, and dumps some water on his head, shaking it out and blowing a mist on his way to the ring. Helmsley stops at the ring apron and takes a hard swig of his water bottle, leaping to the apron and glaring in at Jericho for a long moment, then turns around looking to the fans. He looks left, then right and finally to the center as he spouts off a spray into the air, flexing and sends a second burst out, stepping through the ropes and pausing, trying to stare a hole through Jericho.


The lights come back on and referee Earl Hebner takes the championship, showing it to Jericho before raising it above his head, showing the world what's on the line. He then calls for the bell as the fans chant "Y2J" loudly, giving Jericho a strong homecoming.

Triple H nonchalantly glances to the fans and smiles a bit, and then stone faces and goes right in on Jericho with a lockup. He tenses and explodes through, shoving Y2J away from him. Jericho does a full backwards roll and ends up near the ropes, nodding his head with a smirk as he pulls himself up, calling Hunter back on for another. The Game flexes and points at Jericho, yelling "MY RING, My title, MY WORLD!!" at him. Helmsley goes right back in with a second lockup, trying to power him back again, but this time Jericho goes low, pulling Hunter chest first into the middle ropes. Y2J then does a quick two step to the pop from the crowd and comes flying in off the ropes, leaping onto Hunter's back and crunching him back into the middle ropes!

Triple H lays on the rope and bounds off, trying to stumble to his feet, but gets caught with an arm drag from Jericho and pulled up into a side headlock! HHH scurries around and tries to shove him off, but Chris settles his feet and leg whips him to the mat, keeping the headlock taut! Triple H fights his way up to his feet and goes to shove out of the headlock, sending Jericho into the ropes, but Chris holds onto the champion’s hair, pulling him right back into the headlock to a pop from the crowd and takes him over, synching it in tightly! Triple H gets a 2 count while he's down and fires his arm up, squinting and trying to push up to his knees. While he's down he jams a fist into the small of Jericho's back trying to work his way out of the headlock.

Hunter battles his way back up to his feet and takes Y2J over with a back suplex, but Chris does a full flip float over and lands on his feet, taking Hunter down with a double leg takedown and goes for the Walls of Jericho! However, as The Game squirms, not going over all the way, Jericho decides against it and just falls back, sling-shotting Hunter up and onto the top turnbuckle. He bounces his head off and gets pulled back by Y2J, who rolls him up and grabs hold of the tights when the ref's not looking, but HHH rolls out at the two count!

Right back on their feet, Jericho CHOPS Hunter across the chest to the "Woooo's" from the crowd, working him back first into a corner. Jericho continues to chop away before firing Triple H across, following him in. As Hunter hits the corner and stumbles out, Jericho comes off the ropes behind him and goes for a face buster, but Hunter turns on a dime and catches Jericho with a sidewalk slam out of nowhere!

HHH bounces away and moves his hair out of his eyes, breathing faster. He goes right back onto the assault on Jericho, hoisting him up again in sidewalk slam position. Triple H steps out a few steps and hammers him down right onto his knee with a backbreaker, bending him across it. Jericho goes rolling away from Hunter, arching his back and squints in pain. Triple H follows past him and turns him onto his stomach. He stands back and goes airborne, dropping a knee directly on his spine.

Y2J now goes rolling into a corner, holding his lower back and he holds a hand up, begging off from the champion. HHH grabs the top rope and puts a foot on Jericho's chest, pushing down on it for a few seconds and right at 5 breaks the hold and stomps right down again! Hebner then gets between the two, and this allows Jericho time to shake his head out, and as soon as Hunter re-approaches him, he grabs him by the front of the shorts and pulls him shoulder first into the ring post!

The crowd pops as Hunter goes falling through the ropes and onto the ring apron, rubbing his shoulder in pain. As soon as he pulls himself up, Jericho rushes the corner, springing of off the middle ropes and drills Hunter with a dropkick, sending him crashing to the outside! The Game hits the mat hard, laid out from the surprise move. He sits up after a minute or two, checking his chin to make sure it’s still attached. As he checks himself, Jericho plays to the crowd in the ring, yelling out "King of the Woooorld, Babaaay!" before rushing back into the corner, springing off of the ropes again, this time flying OVER them with a cross body to the outside onto the champion! Both men are knocked to the floor again, Helmsley laid out completely from Jericho's assault!


JR: An AMAZING move by the challenger! Chris Jericho has been waiting for this day ever since he arrived on Raw, and By God, he's giving it all he has!

Piper: "That's right, Ross, but there's one problem. You cannot pin the champion OUTSIDE of the ring. Jericho must get him back in and beat him 1, 2, 3 on that mat!"


Jericho is all revved up as he pulls himself to his feet on the outside, screaming out to the crowd and slaps a few hands before going back over to the champion; however, Hunter capitalizes and whips Jericho knees first into the ring steps, and Jericho flips OVER them with a loud thud! Triple H falls to his knees after this one, getting his bearings and hears a satisfied THUD as Y2J hits the stairs. He moves over to him and rolls him back inside, pulling himself to the apron and getting back inside. HHH stands over Jericho and drops down, delivering a series of punches to his forehead!

The crowd begins to boo loudly as Hunter pounds away on Jericho, going as far as to chant "ASSHOLE!" repeatedly! The Game stands up and yanks Jericho's head between his legs. He reaches down and grabs one arm, going for the double under hook. However, the crowd pops as Jericho pulls Hunter's legs out from under him, and he immediately turns him into the Walls of Jericho! The crowd goes WILD as Jericho has Hunter trapped in the middle of the ring with nowhere to go! Triple H scrapes and claws his way towards the ropes, but Jericho sits up some and drags him back into the middle! The crowd then makes some noise as RIC FLAIR comes racing down the ramp, climbing onto the apron!

Jericho then releases HHH and rushes the corner, springing off the middle rope and knocks Flair back down to the floor with a dropkick to a pop from the crowd! HBK then comes tearing down the ramp, grabbing Flair and meets him with a right hand between the eyes to a pop from the crowd, working him back up the ramp and to the back!

As Jericho watches them leave, Hunter dives into Jericho's knee form behind with a chop block, doubling the challenger over! Y2J crumbles to the mat, grabbing at his knee in pain as Hunter pulls himself up, giving Jericho a stomp to the mouth before falling back himself. Jericho rolls into the ropes and looks up at Hunter, deciding to get under his skin and calls him back on, giving him the finger!


"C'mon, you SON OF A BITCH!"


Hunter's eyes go wide and he races forward, but Jericho drops down and pulls the top rope with him, letting Hunter flip over them! However, The Game lands on the apron and pulls himself up, and Jericho comes racing in, drilling him with a clothesline and goes over with him, but Y2J skins the cat and pulls himself back into the ring, just to use the ropes to spring himself over them immediately onto Triple H with a cross body, taking him right back down to the floor!

The crowd is fiercely into this match, cheering Jericho on as he pulls Hunter up by the hair, rolling him back into the ring. As Hunter remains on his back, Jericho rushes the ropes and springs off of them with the Lion Sault, but he lands on his feet as Hunter rolls out of the way. However, his leg buckles on him and he doubles over, right into a boot to the mid section and a PEDIGREE!! The fans BOOM with boos as Jericho is drilled into the mat, laid right the hell out! Hunter crawls over onto him, laying his back across his chest, counting along with the boos from the fans for the one, two, TWO! Jericho places his foot across the bottom rope!

Triple H pounds the mat in a red faced fury! He gets up and yells at Earl Hebner, who yells right back at him until the Game gives him a HARD shot in the chest that sends him sprawling face first into the turnbuckle! HHH stands over him fuming as he glances over at Jericho. He goes over to the side of the ring and goes to step out to find a chair, then remembers his belt hits just as hard. Helmsley gets about halfway through the ropes when CHRISTIAN comes charging down and yanks the belt off of the table. He pauses, turns and SLAMS it between HHH's eyes, bouncing him back to the center of the ring from it!

As Hebner pulls himself up, he sees Christian cheerleading for Jericho and immediately tosses him from ringside! As Christian stomps up and down, BATISTA rolls into the ring from out of nowhere and waits for Jericho to stand, and as soon as he does so, he takes a running start and BLASTS him in the head with a vicious forearm shot, turning him inside out!

Batista then quickly slides to the outside, escaping through the crowd as Hebner turns back around to see both men laid out, thinks about it and then begins to give them their mandatory ten count! At the count of eight, both the champion and challenger make it to their feet, stumbling towards one another and begin to trade right hands. Hunter takes control and Jericho falls back into the ropes, stumbling forward into a kick to the mid section and a double under hook! Just as Hunter goes to crash him into the mat, Jericho somehow twirls and swings around Hunter, shoving him into the ropes and DRILLS him on the return with a running enzaguri!!

Triple H gets plastered with the enzaguri stumbling across and falls face first into the canvas! Jericho sees Hunter laid out and goes for all or nothing, springing off the ropes with the Lion Sault, but he lands square across Hunter's knees! The crowd's hopes are then dashed as Jericho falls back into the ropes and stumbles forward, right into another Pedigree set-up! Hunter takes a second to give a thumbs down to the crowd before going for the finish, but Jericho swings around Hunter with a schoolboy, hooking the tights for the one, two, THREE!


HHH kicks out at the last second as Hebner signals to the timekeeper that it’s DONE! Hunter falls over and dives for his title as Earl yanks it from his grasp and hands it to Jericho!!! He raises Chris' hand in triumph and has the announcement given.


Lillian: Here is you winner and NEEEEEEEEW Heavyweight Champion... Chris JEEEEERICHOOOOOOOOO!!!!


Triple H dives after Lillian right after she finishes, yanking at his own hair and exploding inside the ring about his tights being pulled, his hair pulled, closed fists, EVERYTHING!

"Break The Walls Down" blasts over the speakers as the Winnipeg fans EXPLODE for the title win of their own Chris Jericho!

Batista and Sean O'Haire all converge back into the ring, sliding under the ropes and making a beeline for Jericho!

Jericho snatches the championship and rolls to the outside, holding it above his head as he jumps up and down, leaping over the barricade and out into the crowd! Y2J escapes to one of the exits, celebrating with the fans, and after a few moments of gloating to Triple H and The Authority, Trish meets Jericho in the stands and throws her arms around his neck, closing the show with a lip-lock!!

HHH is inside the ring, being held back by O'Haire as he's absolutely LIVID over this finish! The show goes to a split screen at the end with Jericho and Trish kissing and Helmsley screaming "YOU'RE DEAD JERICHO!!! YOU'RE DEAD!!!!"
