When Raw comes back from a commercial, Detroit's own Alex Shelley is in the ring, warming up and pulling on the ropes. Shelley's announced to a hometown pop which gets even louder as "Die MF Die" hits the speakers. This sends out the Phenomenal AJ Styles!

Styles comes out with his vest and hood over his head, and yanks it off as soon as he gets onto the apron, extending his arms for the crowd's approval! AJ gets in the ring and tosses his vest to the ring attendant, shaking hands with Shelley. Right before the two lock up the speakers ignite again, this time with Marilyn Manson's "Personal Jesus".

This interruption is caused by the UCW International Champion, Sean O'Haire! Ohaire holds his hands up, saying he has no problem here, and grabs a mic.
"Gentlemen, I'll be more than happy to let you go ahead and work, but, as International Champion, I get this bit of talk time. Hopefully you should listen well, because it pertains especially....to you." Sean turns and faces AJ, getting in his face as he speaks.

"Its a forgone conclusion that you and I have a date at SummerSlam. Now, everybody believes that I'm going to be that big obstacle that comes right down, sending AJ Styles into superstardom." Sean turns around and holds back on the ref, asking for a moment. "That being said....I'm not everybody. I'm Sean O'Haire, and I'm one hell of a roadblock. I'll be ready and waiting for you at the show, and so will this." Ohaire flashes the title in front of him, turning around a bit. "Okay, this is where you come in....Alex, is it? You're here as an exhibition for AJ, believed to come in, bounce around a little bit, and lay down to the Styles Clash. Its my job....to help you along here. As such, I'll be in your corner for this match. Don't worry, Styles, I'll behave." Sean backs up and rubs Shelley's shoulders, whispering a few words of advice to the now terrified Shelley.

OHaire steps out of the ring and puts the title in the corner, clapping his hands for Alex. Shelley then turns and shrugs to Styles, going in now for the lockup. AJ wins this one and snatches a headlock, but Shelley lifts up on his left leg, trying to take him to the canvas. AJ lets go of the headlock and backs up, as OHaire nods in acknowledgement. Styles warns him to stay out, and goes back in for a tieup with Shelley. Alex gets tied up this time, with an arm wringer, yanking back on it. Shelley tries to roll forward but Styles goes along with him, keeping the armbar locked in. Shelley goes back and gets into the ropes, as the ref tells Styles to let it go.

"YEAH, AJ let it go!" Ohaire heckles from the outside, then whispers something to Shelley, who looks at him with confusion. Sean waves him off and says to go back into it.
Alex goes for a tieup again, but Styles shoves out of it and elbows him in the face, sending him to the ropes. AJ whips
Shelley off as Alex goes on the run. Styles ducks down as Shelley goes over him with a sunset flip attempt, getting Styles down on the mat. AJ rolls through it and tries to yank Shelley's legs up and set up a Styles Clash. O'Haire,
at this time leaps to the apron and waves him off, yelling about a pull of the tights.

Styles gets up and goes right into Ohaire's face, but backs away. Shelley sees his chance and comes at him with a Yakuza kick to the mouth. Alex then grabs his head and lays a few raised knees into him. Sean claps his hands on the outside, telling Shelley to finish him quickly.

Alex then yanks Styles down into a piledriver style, and gets ready for the drop. AJ smacks his legs together around Shelley's head and falls to his feet. Styles shoves him into the ropes and whips him off, coming right at Shelley with a flying forearm that knocks him to the mat. Styles jumps up, extending his arms out and goes to the top rope. AJ perches for a moment and then comes off with a shooting star press that hits true!

Styles gets one....two....ONLY two as OHaire yanks his leg off, citing Styles being on the top rope too long. AJ has had enough at this point and kicks at Sean's hand. Shelley comes up to his feet, wobbling back and forth, and Styles turns right around into his grip. Shelley hooks him in Rock bottom style and goes airborne with a Flatliner, driving Styles into the mat. Styles bounces up from the impact and lays flat on the canvas. Shelley pulls his leg back and goes for a pin, getting a 1....2....TWOOO only as O'Haire yanks HIS leg off, telling him that his exhibition is over!

Shelley looks incredulous at this one, and O'Haire glances him in disbelief. Sean then takes a open palmed shot across his face and then hurls Alex into the corner face first. Sean then rolls Styles over by his foot and flashes the title in his face. O'Haire then yanks AJ up by the hair showing just what he has to deal with and go through at SummerSlam!!
