Eddie Guererro comes to the ring from the backstage area, doing a shimmy for the crowd and keeping a slight smile on his face. Eddie steps quickly through the ropes and bounces back against them, giving referee Chad Patten a few good words.

ONE OF A KIND!!!



"One of a Kind" by Breaking Point hits the speakers as the crowd erupts to welcome Mr. Thursday Night, ROB...VAN...DAM!

RVD comes out with the X title over his shoulder and thumbs to himself slapping hands with the fans on his way down. RVD rolls under the bottom rope and bounces to his feet, turning and giving an R....V....D thumbpoint to Guererro.

The two circle around one another and lock up. Van Dam hooks in an wristlock that Eddie ducks around. Guererro goes for a belly to back suplex and Van Dam flips out of it, latching in a headlock. Eddie drops backwards with it turning it into a rollup. Guererro gets 1 as RVD pops out and goes for a high scissor kick. Eddie ducks that and brings him over with an hiptoss that RVD keeps onto and bounces up to his feet.

Van Dam flips HIM over with a hiptoss himself. Eddie hits the canvas and doesnt let go of RVD's arm either. Guererro sees him on his feet and raises a knee to Rob's chest, flipping him over with a snapmare and steps on RVD's face as he lands, twisting his foot across it. RVD holds his nose as Eddie pulls him up to his feet. Guererro goes for an Irish Whip to the corner that Van Dam reverses, sending him in with force. Rob charges Eddie, but Guererro ducks under it, trying to backdrop him out. RVD grabs onto the top rope and lands on the apron, jamming his shoulder into Guererro's midsection and punching him back. Eddie backs away as RVD pops up to the top turnbuckle and comes off with a flying sidekick, knocking Latino Heat to the canvas!!!

RVD waits him up and goes for a superkick that Eddie catches by the foot. Van Dam then steps through it and gives a hard roundhouse to Guererro's chin, flattening him out. Rob gets a running start and comes off the ropes with a tuck and rolll, going for a Rolling Thunder. Eddie puts his knees up at the last second and feels Van Dam crash into them. Before he can bounce off, Eddie grips his head and bends him across his legs, holding it there for a moment and then rolling him to the side for a pin attempt.

RVD shrugs his arm out at 2 as Eddie gets up to his feet, glancing down at RVD and looking around to the ref, and then the crowd. A slight smile forms on his lips as he knows that the tide has turned. Van Dam gets to his feet slowly as Eddie goes for a vertical suplex. Rob locks his foot around his leg and doesnt go up. Guererro rotates a bit and kicks RVD's leg off with his back foot, then snaps him over with the suplex, rolling his hips on impact and bringing him up and down with a 2nd one. Van Dam tries to punch his ribs, but Eddie takes a breath and pops him over for one last one!

Eddie then gets up, seeing RVD in the center of the ring, and going up to the top rope. Guererro perches for a moment and then stands up, waving his hands out to the crowd. Eddie then comes flying off with a Frogsplash of his own, caving RVD's chest in with it!!!

Guererro pulls back on his leg and gets a 1....2....and then is YANKED out of the ring by Adonis Jordan, who has turned a dead sprint down to the ring. Jordan sets up Guererro and punches him right between the eyes, glancing in at the ref.

Patten waves it off and signals to the timekeeper to disqualify Van Dam for the interference!! Adonis puts a thumbs up after it and goes right in after RVD, laying boots to him and pulling him up by the hair. Jordan turns him around going for his Breakaway, but Van Dam shoves him out of it and swings wildy, sending him into the corner, and delivering shots to his midsection. Van Dam drops down and sends shoulders into him and backflips back twice, charging forward with a shoulderblock of his own!

Eddie gets up from the floor, irate at Jordan for interfering and then pauses, realizing he won. Guererro yanks a chair up, however, deciding to get some of this fight still. He smacks it on the floor and waits, about to take a swipe at whomever turns around first. Eddie then stops and thinks for a bit, watching the two of them go back and forth on the inside.

Guererro stands on the apron and throws the chair back at Adonis. Jordan catches it in confusion and looks up, seeing a vision a second too late. RVD comes flying off of the top turnbuckle and kicks the chair into his face, knocking Jordan through the ropes and to the mat outside. Van Dam says to hell with this match and goes after Adonis on the outside, laying waste to him as security comes down to break them all up!

Save for Eddie Guererro who gets back in the ring and makes Patten raise his arm as the winner.

"Lie, Cheat, and Steal" plays on the speakers again as Eddie soaks in the crowd's mixed reaction now.
