The crowd immediately begins to boo as the beginning drumming to Dope’s “Debonaire” pounds over the speakers, and they then boo even louder as the man himself appears, Jesse Hart! Hart makes his way down the ramp and to the ring with confidence, looking forward to locking up with The Rock for the first time in well over a year.








If Ya Smeeeeee… If Ya Smeeeeee… If Ya Smeeeeeelalalalalooow!

WHAT THE ROCK…

Iiiiiiiiiiis Cooooooking!







The crowd then EXPLODES as the People’s Champion appears, THE ROCK! Rock makes his way down the ramp and climbs onto the apron, and then the ropes, holding a fist above his head as he soaks in all of the electricity. He then enters the ring and goes to head over to a corner by walking past Hart, but Jesse steps in his way and they bump chests.


Rock stops on a dime as the two former World Champion’s stare one another down, and referee Brian Hebner quickly calls for the bell, and gives both men their final instructions. However, Jesse breaks the stare down with a SLAP across the face of the Great One!

Rock’s head swings to the side as Hart breaks out into a smirk, standing his ground. Rocky then comes forward with a right hand, drilling Hart across the mouth, followed up by a second, a third, and then a fourth, rocking him back into the ropes! Rock then backs off, mimics Hart and screams out “I LIVE FOR THIS SHIT” before DRILLING him with a STIFF right hand, sending him flipping over the top rope and to the floor!

The crowd begins to chant “ROCKY! ROCKY!” repeatedly as Hart stumbles around on the outside, and shaking his head out. Rock then follows him out and grabs him by the head, slamming it against the announce table! Jesse rebounds off of the table and rolls back into the ring, stumbling across the ring and into a corner with Rock right on him.

However, as soon as Rock approaches, Hart drives a knee into his mid section and then tosses him into the corner by his head, following it up with a HUGE European uppercut that takes Rock’s feet up off the mat! Jesse then grabs Rock’s head with one hand, and then drills repeated right hands between his eyes, dazing him there. Rock stumbles out of the corner and leans against the ropes, and Jesse is right on him, firing him across; however, Rock comes rebounding off the ropes with a flying forearm, dropping Hart straight to his back!

Jesse hits the mat and rebounds back up to his feet, and he walks right into a Samoan drop for a two count! Right back on their feet again, Jesse walks into a boot to the mid section and a DDT! The crowd then ROARS as Rock NIPS right up to his feet and makes his way over to Hart’s head, kicking his arms in to his side and tosses his elbow pad out into the fifth row! The crowd is electric as Rock signals from side to side and comes off one set of ropes, and then the others, but as he comes in for the People’s Elbow, Jesse nips straight up himself and goes low, lifting and JAMMING Rock into the mat with a Full Nelson Slam!

Hart now takes a step back and raises his chin in the air, mimicking Rock as he soaks in all of the boos from the fans. Jesse then pulls Rock up to his feet and lifts him in the air with a vertical suplex, holding him there a la the British Bulldog, and even pulls one arm away and gives a flex before driving Rock back first into the mat! He hooks the leg and goes for the cover, but Rock rolls his shoulder out at the count of two.

Hart now mounts the People’s Champion, squishing his cheeks together before ramming repeated fists into his head, and he then finally breaks away at the five count and shoves Hebner to his ass! The crowd boos Hart as he struts around the ring, just waiting for Rock to stand, setting up his finish. As soon as Rock makes it to his feet, Hart hoists him upside down for the Owen Driver, but Rock kicks his legs wildly, floating over. Instinctively, Jesse goes for the Hart Stomp, but Rock has him scouted and catches his leg, spins him around, hooks and JAMS him into the mat with a Rock Bottom!!














The crowd pops as Rock goes for the cover, but they soon boo as RANDY ORTON makes his way down the ramp to make the save, but he then pauses before sliding into the ring as the ref counts the one, two, TWO! Hart kicks out! Randy then says to hell with it and slides into the ring, mugging the Great One! Brian Hebner has now seen enough, and he calls for the bell, throwing this match out!












The Smacktron then lights up and we see Kurt Angle heading out of his locker room, making a B-line for the gorilla position, but he’s then mugged from behind by CHRIS BENOIT!











Benoit drills the champion in the back and sends him crashing head first into a brick wall, stopping him dead in his tracks!


Back in the ring, Orton is salivating behind Rock, just waiting for him to stand. As soon as he does so, Orton moves in and goes for the RKO, but Rock shoves out of it, shoving Orton directly into Hart as he stood up, and they collide head to head to a pop from the crowd! Orton then stumbles away from Hart, and he walks directly into a ROCK BOTTOM!











Nick Dinsmore and Matt Morgan then hit the ring, mugging The Rock! Morgan tosses him into a corner by his head and begins to unload with a series of stiff shoulder blocks, taking Rock’s feet up off the mat with each blow! As Rock stumbles out of the corner, Morgan tosses him right into a T-Bone suplex by Dinsmore!


Hart now pulls himself up from the mat and looks around, red faced and PISSED right the hell off! He swings Dinsmore around by his arm and glares at him, and then as quickly as a cat, he turns on a dime and begins to stomp the hell out of The Rock!

Dinsmore and Morgan shrug their shoulders and join in, and it’s a complete curb stomping all over the Great One as the fans BOOM with boos! Orton now pulls himself together and looks around, holding the back of his head and perks a brow as he sees Evolution holding The Rock in place as Hart drives repeated right hands to his head. Hart then turns back and sees Orton, waving him over, letting him take his place. Randy and Jesse stare at one another for a few moments before Orton nods his head, taking his spot and begins to hammer away on The Rock when a LOUD car crash is heard as a lead into none other than…














… MICK FOLEY, who comes tearing down the ramp, steel chair in hand! Foley slides into the ring and DRILLS Morgan across the head with the chair, and then Dinsmore, and then swings wildly at Hart and Orton as they bail to the outside!

Dinsmore drops to the mat in a heap, but Morgan is still standing, wobbling as she shakes his head out. Foley shrugs and DRILLS Morgan again, and when he STILL doesn’t drop, Mick lays the chair on the mat and JAMS Morgan face first into it with a Double-armed DDT!!

The crowd is going INSANE as Morgan and Dinsmore roll to the outside, and Mick Foley has just CLEANED HOUSE! Mick paces around the ring, holding out the double guns and yells out “BANG BANG!!”

Rock pulls himself up, wobbly, and falls into the ropes, nodding to Foley for the save and calls for a mic as Hart and Evolution retreat to the back, LIVID! Rock pulls the mic up to his lips to speak.


Rock: Orton… Evolution… at SummerSlam… you’re going THREE on TWO with The Rock… and Mick… FOOOOLEEEEEEY!


Rock is breathing heavily, so Mick takes the mic and finishes it off.


Foley: IF YA SMEEEEEEELL… WHAT THE ROCK AND MICK FOLEY… ARE COOOOOOOOKING!!


Foley’s music then pounds over the speakers once more as Smackdown! comes to a close, and we’re now on the Highway to Toronto for SUMMERSLAM!
