. a protective arm around her waist, i nod as i begin to follow, allowing my arm to slip back to my side. hunter had always been the one in the group to finish off evil, but his cousin was presumably just as talented. keeping close to her as i weave through the crowds, i pull my own athame from my back pocket. following her gaze, it lands on a familiar girl. emma? emma chase? oh god why didn't i see it before? lasrach, right in front of my eyes..oh this would not be an easy task..exhaling a deep sigh, i step closer behind sky with a raspy whisper.
