So the catholic church was vererating "their lady before the Bible was ever written", huh? I don't doubt it, but WHICH lady? Her TikiTorch, that lady with all them thar arms called Kali, ain't no lady. LOL

I don't know what your forefathers were worshipping, my little viper, but I'm guessing that a god with a lot of arms would offer quite a fascination to your kind. As for the early Church, they worshipped God and venerated Christ's Mother and the other saints, even before the Bible was canonized.
