Hello glove puppets,

I will proceed with responding to the various points you have raised in this particular post on a more-or-less case-by-case basis, hopefully utterly devastating what little shreds of credibility you might've retained after your first misanthropic post to this message board.

I will now do so.

Contemporary research into gender differences, especially on the level of the genome are pointing out that men and women, as a matter of scientific fact, are different creatures. Male brains are structured and function differently from female ones in ways that significantly affect *everything* about being of a different gender. Each sex interacts with the world in a different way and has talents of a differing kind, to deny this is akin to ignoring reality. If you would like weblinks pointing to a few articles expounding this case, please e-mail me

On the note of reality, you seem to be a lover of the Gitã and Upanishads. I shan't be commenting on Hinduism too much, since I try to respect the Yogic tradition. I will, however, mention that I believe that it is people like you who give it a bad name. To boast about one's own standing relative to Samadhi and belittling others' the way you have done is so loaded with karma that even the kilo's of incense I intend to burn on your behalf are unlikely to prevent your rebirth as a pissant (blessed creatures). Aside from this I would appreciate it if you could study the terms yama and niyama for a while.

Your gripe with the "old boys" mentality is a sheer matter of taste. I agree that in order to expand the readership Gareth would be wise to address with a wider audience in mind. On the other hand I am more of a firm believer in (among others) Hakim Bey's notions of tight (tribal) social groupings that, while not territorial to the point of exclusion of others, allows for a far more meaningful interaction between its members on various levels. I believe the errgentlemen "community" is an example of a budding group of such a kind. You would be an instance of a freeloader who unwittingly contributes by drawing the readership closer together with your ill-founded comments.

Mediarisation? Irony! Read the following aloud to yourself: "A rating system for drugs"... and you take it seriously and at face value. I haven't seen Gareth actively advocate the solitary usage of drugs on this site and I don't believe he intends to do so. In the words of Susan Leary "Always do it with friends".

By the way: "a rating system which is part of the superficiality of the status quo". How does this mean anything? Are you saying any hierarchical system is part of the "superficiality of the status quo" (where *is* the status quo?) and hence all hierarchy systems are bad? How do you intend to be a Yogi and not believe in hierarchy or systems? "All paths lead to me" , eh? You're going to have to walk a path at some point, puppet. Mind, I have taken some liberty with interpretation here, so perhaps I misunderstood what you wanted to say (which appears to be: "Gareth, you stink").

Also: What is "pratyaksana jnana" ? I searched and searched, but could not find it anywhere. Not even Google could tell me what it is.

Please keep your critique constructive from now on, I realise a lot of the above is of a less-than-improvement-inducing nature, but I hope that by now you realise that destruction only breeds just that. If you would like to see your opinions represented, try and contribute actively by submitting a guest article and presenting your case, as opposed to the "Gareth, you suck, change stuff to the way I like it" mentality you seem to be taking.

Thank you for listening, feeling and sharing,

Jan Jaap van Poelgeest

(I can assure you that on the physical plane I am a separate entity from Mr. Finch Esq. , A Dutch one at that. On the spiritual level... "we have no sons!").

P.S: You are full of shit.

Ahh, that felt good. May I be reborn as a dung-fly's larvae.
