Subject: They couldn't hit an elephant at this dist. . . .

The winner of last month's caption competition, Mr Bryan, whilst in year 8, was reprimanded for being involved in too much physical violence. He was, I think, given an ultimatum to the effect that if he was involved in any more fights, he would be expelled. He returned to the form room obviously distressed - physical violence was his favourite pastime - and the whole form was quiet and embarrassed as it was very unusual to see Gary upset. Except, that is, the winner of the Old Boy Competition, Mr Mapletoft, who exclaimed "What an eccentric performance".

Mr Woodhead's 'Sign of the V-Drive', which is evident on the last-day photo. To the uninitiated, this was a salute made to the legendary V-Drive on the school network, onto which Mr Law claimed to have placed all the world's historical resources, including all the material necessary to obtain a degree in history, Hitler's DNA coding, and the contents of the lost Library of Alexandria.

There is a distinct lack of Dr Pembridge stories. To start to ball rolling:

"Payne, why are you such a pain? If your name was Stink you wouldn't go around stinking would you boyo?"

"Brown. You've got a nice body haven't you boyo? Nice hair?"

The time he spent 5 minutes trying to make Hiley laugh, only to give him lines for laughing when he did.

When he caught Metal Walters marking the walls with his shoes, and blamed him for all the scuff marks in the school. He had to spend a week with a bucket, cloth, and rubber gloves, cleaning the walls of the science department.
