Life : version 5 point 0h : The After Life |
![]() [click to enter] http://www.geocities.com/theafterlifev5 Starting Over Enter the world of the weary, where every night the city is teeming with the various spreads of human culture, race and beliefs. Ranging everywhere from the gang members honing their blatant reign of terror on the night time streets, to the grunge punks rocking out every night at the Pit, to the individuals roaming on skateboards, driving in cars or walking on the streets. The business men and women mill about in high heels and rich imported suits during the day, while at night, a whole new world evolves with the fall of the sun. Drug dealers elicit themselves for their own private street sales, collecting a fair profit overnight. In the fetid passageways of the metro backstreets and alleys, mayhem and havoc wreaks with its own inhabitants. Prostitutes dressed in their finest hang around the street corners near the abandoned warehouse; also a common hangout for the troubled youth of the metropolis. The skate park is always in business, lit by flourescent lighting overhead and with a wide array of obsticles and platforms to suffice every skaters unquenchable thirst for thrill. In General Park families, couples and strays wander; the bravest straying into the arbor at the center. And all the way downtown, neighboring the Pit, is 24 - 7...the still standing, still ever popular dance club for 18 and above. But the metro isn't the only place worth checking out for you tourists. Suburbia comes equipped with novelties such as the gold coast. Worthy of its name, it's never empty and glints an aureate hue by day. By night, it can just as quickly morph into an exotic rave. The Java House is a cozy cafe with a small, built in bookstore, and home to many of the locals and visitors...even the college students on break. The other two popular hangouts are the Red Line Surf Shoppe and The Cove -- a hut-like construction consisting of a bar and open patio for casual beach front dining. So now that you are aware of the ressurection, be sure to consider becoming a part of the uprise.. The Much Owed Explanation Life was originally created some odd number of years ago by the owner, Caitie, and was a decent sized and populated human RPG for the time. Over time it grew and Caitie grew also -- lazier. Life all but contradicted its name and died out this year [2003]. Well since I can't bear to see such a regime go down without a fighting chance, it's my last attempt to successfully resurrect this place once and for all. So this is the new version...sort of life after death...it's a mature PG-13 to R rated realistic human role play game, intended for the intermediate players and above. We accept skilled players with experience and creatvity who are willing to keep active and put in effective posts that aren't three lines long. So that pretty much sums it up...enjoy* |
