In reply to: dori 's message, "Oh Julie! That's so awful!" on 13:10:04 07/24/09 Fri

My neurologist confirmed that it is Trigeminal Neuralgia.

My husband is doing the Brain MRI on me tomorrow and he'll get the report from the Radiologist on Monday.

I started medication for this today. Hoping it brings some relief soon.

God bless you always,

Julie

That sounds horrible. I do hope and pray the doctors can figure out what to do to relieve you of that pain. In my prayers also. God Bless.

Today is a better day -less pain and last night was the best sleep I have had in a long time.

This morning I had an MRI and after I came home , my husband called me back to have another one done with contrast because of a suspicious finding on it .

The radiologist doesn't know exactly what it is - so he is sending my scans to a Neuroradiologist.

I appreciate your prayers and the prayers of others here.

Prayer means everything.

Should know more next week. I'm in pretty good spirits- I guess because of them ~not knowing ~
makes me feel better than them knowing that it is something obviously bad.

Wasn't ready for more bad news today - so the unknown news is actually rather welcoming.

Love and ((( Big Hugs ))) your way friend...
