I don't intend to order the DVD but it is fascinating. Any comments?

"Sons of God"? Giants? Nephilim?

They are among the strangest mysteries of the Old Testament. Now, hear Jim Staley explain in a comprehensive new teaching what these odd beings really were - and are.

They've been interpeted as "nobles" and "sons of Seth," but for the true answer we may need to look in another dimension entirely.

From Genesis to Revelation and from Mt. Olympus to Area 51, Jim shows that there is, indeed, "something out there."

He draws on his deep knowledge of Scripture and Hebrew terminology, along with extra-biblical sources such as first century authors Josephus and Philo of Alexandria, as well as the Book of Enoch and a variety of archeological sources.

But seeking the answers is not simply a matter of satisfying our curiosity. Jim explains that understanding these mysterious beings will help us understand critical questions such as the plan of Satan, and how men are to fall away so quickly in the Last Days as Jesus prophecied.

This new lesson by Jim Staley pulls together and shows a connection between Greek mythology, the La Azazel goat of Yom Kippur, fallen angels, roaming evil spirits and aliens. Not only is this teaching "on the edge of your seat" fascinating, it is very scripturally based and supported by innumerable facts of history.

I have done quite a bit of study on this subject and the Nephilim are connected with the fallen angels and "sons of God" in chapter 6 of Genesis.

They are found throughout the Bible but are not always giants is stature but are definitely "heads above the crowd" when it comes to gaining followers. They are here to rule over countries and are found in almost every aspect of civilization.

They are the enemies of God and the "bottom line" of Ephesians 6:11-12. They are the "seed of Satan" and are prophesied of in Genesis 3:14-15. They are the iron of Daniel chapter 2 in the feet and toes.

They are here and will be until God destroys them in the lake of fire.

I had read about them years ago and knew they were mentioned in Chapter 6 of Genesis. Seems what I read was that they were "fallen angels" who had come to earth and were marrying women here on the earth and God Himself had to intervene to stop such marriages because it would mess up His plan for the redemption of mankind.

Is only a small part of it. Yes the fallen angels were Nephilim but the offspring inherited much of their abilities.

The goal of Satan in all of his plans is to defeat the plan of redemption. There is good indication that Judas was one of the "seed" of Satan. He was a devil (John 6:70). He was the "son of perdition" in John 17:12 and in 2 Thess. 2:3. In both verses the definite article "the" indicates a singular son of perdition. The word perdition means destruction and is given in Revelation 9:11 as Abaddon in Hebrew and Apollyon in Greek. He is the king of the bottomless pit. Abaddon and Apollyon both mean destruction or destroyer in their respective language.

In Revelation 17 the term perdition is associated with the 8 kings. Notice in verses 10 and 11 that five have come and gone, one is (at John's writing) and one is yet to come. Then notice the 8th has been there before as one of the seven. This one will most likely be the anti-Christ and notice he has been here before. He is the very seed of Satan and is the one who has bruised the head of the seed of the woman.

All of these references are to supernatural persons who fit the description of seed of the Nephilim or possibly even the Nephilim themselves.

Reading this causes me to wonder about the tares among the wheat. The tares are a totally different specie to wheat. They may look like wheat but they are not (Heb. 13:2).

They are to be left alone by God until the harvest which takes place at the 2nd advent of Christ. This is not the rapture but at the end of the tribulation.

Again they are among us and very possibly our president could be one of them. This does not exclude other world leaders from also being of the Nephilim. Remember the description in Gen. 6:4 says they will be men of renown.

Ever wonder at the charisma and attraction to some of these idiots in power and wonder how it could be? Maybe now we know.

I've wondered about that too. He seemed to come out of nowhere and before you know it he's president of the United States. Can't verify his birth certificate, school records, college records or papers of any kind and nothing seems to touch him.

turn up "Chariots of the Gods" among other theories. All will miss the true origin of these beings, and their mission, unless the author is a Bible Believer.

So if you entered some of the names and places you and Connie were talking about, you'd be surprised what all would turn up. Give it a try, HB!
