I told Kathy I would ask my praying friends to pray for her Grandma-in-law, Lois. Here is a note from my daughter explaining the situation:

This means a lot, thank you.
They believe she has an ulcer at the base of her esophagus and maybe even in other parts around it. She can barely eat - only broth and ensure - so she's lost 10-15 lbs in just 6 weeks. They ran tests yesterday but don't expect results for days, maybe not until next week because of the holidays.
Thanks for the prayers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PS Please pray for Grandpa Bob, too, who won't leave her side!

Grandma Lois is nearing 90 and they really don't want to do surgery if they can avoid it, so please pray for her to heal with the medication they're giving her. Thank you for your prayers, my friends.

I will for sure. It reassures her when I call on my prayer warriors to help with the needs of her loved ones, just as it helps me.
I'm leaving for Terre Haute i an hour, so I'll be gone for a few days. Hopefully Connie will drop in to set a spell with you.
Love you in Christ!!!

I'll keep you two posted when I hear anything. Kathy's mother-in-law (daughter of grandma Lois) is going to go out to see her and make sure things are going okay with her.
