First it was Esau that "ran Jacob out of town" and not Esau being chased away.

I don't think the birthright played much a part in the warring between the descendants of Esau and Jacob. We should remember that not only did Esau's descendants hate and war with Israel but also Ishmael's did.

The only way to really understand the animosity toward Israel from nearly all the nations of the world is to understand the promised "Seed" was to come from Israel. Satan has been trying to stop God's divine plan from the beginning.

Look at how other nations who were hostile to each other have reconciled. The U.S. and Japan. England and France and Germany. England and the U.S. Each of us have been mortal enemies in the past but we are reconciled and are allies and even friends today. Not so with Israel. There is an unexplainable hatred for that little nation that can only be understood from the Bible perspective.

Israel is God's chosen people. The world can't stand it. The U.S. is the only nation that has historically stood with Israel through thick and thin up to now. There are troubling signs that Satan is gaining in this area also. God help us if we turn against Israel also.

Another thing is that most of the Muslim nations are enemies of one another also. These people are violent and without reason. Iraq against Iran. Iran and Saudi Arabia are enemies. Egypt at different times has been Enemy to Syria. Syria conquered Lebanon etc.

"In case of rain the war will be held in the auditorium".

That war will be a reality in that area until Jesus puts a stop to it should never be forgotten. There will be no peace until then.

I meant when he left the first time. Guess I have to go back and read the posts about it, eh teacher? Well, I do enjoy reading when you write them, HB. I obviously have trouble remembering. That's why I'm saving everything you've written here to my hard drive, so I can go back and re-read it all again.
You'll be happy to know I at least did get the Israel connection. At least I THINK I did... 8-)
