My wife Pat had surgery on her foot Friday. She had two large bunions removed and a bone put back in place. She is home and hobbling around on crutches. She has to go see the surgeon some time this week to have the bandages changed.

The dog is safe. I'm not a great fan of dogs or cats but I've never caused any harm to one. This one is not really ours. He belongs to our 10 year old grandson, Willy. He wanted a dog. A couple in our church had a female dog who was going to have a litter. They offered to give him one. After he got the little guy Amanda found out that their landlord would not allow dogs in their apartments. So grandma offered to keep him. He has been with us for about the past year and a half.
