If you remember in our study on that part of Daniel the he-goat is identified as Greece with the notable horn as Alexander the Great. When he died in Babylon his empire was divided between his 4 generals. The "little horn" (anti-Christ) comes out of one of these 4 horns.(vs.9) That it is the ant-Christ there can be little doubt because of what transpires in verses 10-12 of Daniel 8. My guess is that it will be in the Syria/Turkey area. It is very possible an even likely that the anti-Christ will be like Obama. Obama the Kenyan is credited with an American birth although there seems to be no proof. One of the hang-ups the Pharisees had with Jesus was that He was known as a Galilean although his birth was from Bethlehem. The prophecy was for the Messiah to come from Bethlehem Micah 5:2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting. This was a great sticking point for the Pharisees and they were vocal and adamant in their objection to this Galilean. John 7:52 They answered and said unto him, Art thou also of Galilee? Search, and look: for out of Galilee ariseth no prophet. Because of the scriptures that identify his origin it would not surprise me if his actual place of nativity was obscured in order to hide his true identity. Most thought He was from Galilee from birth. His actual birthplace was hidden to them. They were looking for the Messiah to come from Bethlehem which He did, but as a very young child he was moved to Galilee. The anti-Christ we are looking for will come from the middle east but he may live somewhere else to hide his birth. Those looking for a specific area to identify him might be fooled because of his birthplace being hidden from them. The analogy of Obama fits. Most of the world thinks he was born in Hawaii but I believe he was born in Kenya. Hope this makes it clearer. Sorry for the confusion :)
