It was a pretty crazy weekend Charlie and I just had. He had surgery on his eyelids to correct a droopiness he's developed over the years. I had to ice him up every half hour all day Saturday and then Sunday it was warm compresses, but now he looks great! I was on antibiotics for intense tooth pain and ended up getting the tooth pulled yesterday. Charlie looked like a zombie with his bruised eyelids and stitches, but we both went back to work today. He was so uncomfortable Tuesday he had to go to his car at lunch time to thaw out and he took a blanket back in with him. He is in bed now after having a bowl of chicken soup. Poor guy!!! Please keep him in your prayers, will you? And Dwight... I wish they had such an operation. I'd gladly change this tired old brain with a fresh one. *-)

My eyelids droop also but it seems to be connected with my sitting down to study and write (grin). I don't think surgery would help me unless it was to replace this tired old brain with a younger more energetic brain. My sympathies on what I take was an abscessed tooth. I've had a couple and they are no fun.
