I love Daniel also. One of the reasons is found in passages in Daniel just like the one we are studying here.

The typical ideas we have been brought up in about God, heaven, angels and such are not, for the most part, scriptural. Some interpretations are pure fantasy. Daniel dispels many of the false teachings about these things.

While prophecy is a major part of Daniel it is in these little details such as we find in chapter 10 that make the book so much more interesting to me.
