I do believe the lion to be England with possibly the wings being by extension the U.S.A. This is only supposition but England and the U.S. have never truly been separated except for the short times of the revolution and the war of 1812 which basically established the U.S. as a separate nation. Our peoples have always shared that common ancestry and even at war the common man and woman of England had sympathy toward the colonies.

In these latter years since WWI you can see how more and more the U.S. has carried England. Especially during WWII.

You are correct about the sun setting on the British Empire soon after England reneged on the Balfour Declaration (declaration was in 1918 if memory serves me)and actually tried to stop the Jews from entering the Holy Land just after WWII.

All history needs to be looked at from the perspective of how it affects Israel and the Holy Land.

All history needs to be looked at from the perspective of how it affects Israel and the Holy Land. AMEN! Sad that so many peoples and countries (Arabs excluded) look at the Jews and Israel with such disdain and contempt and are so quick to condemn them for any action they take in their own defense. One of the most contemptible IMO is Jimmy Carter....what a disgrace his presidency was and he still thinks he's important and doesn't realize what a failure he was and is while babbling off about Israel when most people know it's Arab money that's funding his Carter Center.

for a great increase in Muslims in the U.S. and it is going to drastically affect the political scene.

Going into the tribulation period the Islam religion will pave the way for the anti-Christ.

What is so disgraceful about "Jimmuh Cottuh" is that he was supposed to be a Sunday school teacher. Baptist at that!!
I could more easily see an agnostic or atheist taking the stands he has than a professing Christian who is supposed to know his Bible.

England is being taken over by the Muslims and it's churches are being converted into mosques. I find this very sad because, as you know, my father was British and Nfld was a British colony when I was growing up and I can't believe what I see happening over there now. I fear as church attendance declines here in the U.S. as it did in England the same thing will happen here.
