Branches

Some branches weep
Some we can climb
Some last through
Many splendid
Seasons
Of time.

Different colors,
Different shapes
Found among
Earth�s blessed
Landscapes.

A place for a nest
And an afternoon rest
For a sparrow, chickadee
Or a robin red-breast.

Branches �budding in Spring
Fragile flowers they bring�
Pink and white blossoms -
Perfect offering.

Branches �Bend in the breeze
Weather the storms
Welcome the sun
Quietly,
Deliberately...
Thankfully.

I remember welcoming the Spring when I was growing up in Nfld and it was always such a joy to see mother nature awakening after her long winter sleep. Doesn't happen where I live now as it's pretty much the same all year long but there are some trees that blossom again.

It snowed a little bit by me today...hoping this is the last of it . I do love the different seasons though and what they all bring to us .

I have good memories in all of them , thanks be to God.

Marge ...I'ma turning a little green here myself learning of your beautiful week coming up ahead. How nice.

It'll be great to get back into the garden and planting flowers again . I always look forward to that.
