It was so crowded that people were parking blocks away and there was a huge line of cars backed up, so we went driving over to a wildlife refuge where they have elk, buffaloes, deer, geese, wild birds and other critters. Then we went to Fuddrucker's for burgers on the way home. I hope you and Dale had a houseful of kids. Connie, how'd the BBQ turn out? xoxoxoxoxo

And I'd say Charlie is definitely a keeper. He has been suffering for several days with an abscessed tooth and while he was suffering and on pain medication, he drove me on Friday to go for my colonoscopy and sat there in pain in the waiting room for the three or four hours we were there. Now THAT is duty above and beyond the call, isn't it? I'm blessed to have him.
