I just didn't get it when I'd read the OT. Too many references I knew nothing about... too much symbolism I didn't get... hard to understand sentence structures. That's the beauty of having Hillbilly's teaching. He makes the OT come to life and makes me want to know more. It's the same Bible Jesus studied as a boy and tried to help us understand with his Cliff Notes. I think we need to understand the basis for why he came to us in human form. I do think it is neat that God says the same thing over and over in different forms so that all the variety of humans have a chance to 'get it'. I have a friend who is very much into the O.T. but gets the same things I get from the N.T., so yes Jesus definitely came for me! (Cliff Notes) :-) Love yas!
