 John, I was on Plaka beach in June 2013 and can assure you naturism is alive and well on the whole beach except where it's been "developed" (ie ruined!). My favourite spot is among the rocks below the chapel at the north end. 'd also recommend Miri Vigla, a delightful nude cove just south of Plaka just by the coastal road.
