The captain rated Lageri near Naoussa on the island of Paros, as superb, and i agree.Yes it's sandy, take your own eats and drinks. some shade but not a lot, good swimming as the bay is enclosed.
This years message posted that the boats from Naousa have started to run again, the last return is usually about 4.30-5pm, so if you wanted to stay later- can be walked!!!about 40mins.
The peninsula on which the beach stands was sold and some villas have grown!!! but do not encroach on the beach, a very old villa is on the beach at the end where the boast come in. The naturist part the the opposite end and is quite long, dunes behind and some shade there - hope this helps.
Naoussa - a super village, eating out OPen Gardenm & Hotel Minoa are good, the reataurant on the road halfway to Lageri - looks upmarket, but we thought the others in the village better...
