There are regular flights between Athens and Chania which takes less than an hour. Take a hire car for the one/two hour drive to the south coast.There are several naturist beaches on the coast along with good and reasonably priced accommodation and excellent tavernas in villages/towns like Paleochora, Sougia, Loutro and Plakias to name a few.
