Date Posted: Thu, July 23 2015, 13:55:18 Went to Andros island between 7/17/2015 and 7/22/2015. Walked the east side of the island on foot starting off from Bouro beach(there is free natural drinkable fresh water at the beach coming from the hills above) all the way to kremydes beach. Meltemi(strong wind blasts all day and night) was a bit annoying. It was impossible to swim safely. The east side of the island is very beautiful for walking/hiking. There are a lot of paths you can follow.Every now and then you can find natural streams with fresh water you can drink from if you want. Google Andros maps for appropriate maps for hiking/walking from google images. Nudity was possible on all beaches, nobody was around due to Meltemi. I found kremydes beach the best of all(very isolated and secluded). I would rate 9.9/10 the small beach with the little cave over the small hill at the end of the main big beach. The water was calm all the time despite Meltemi. There is no spesific way to get to the small beach, you just climb the small hill from the main big beach and you reach paradise. I had the beach to myself all day for 2 days. [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
