Hiya Will, we were in Nissyros 3 years ago. Stayed in Hero`s Square just up from the port, with great views across to Kos. You will need to go up to the main Platia to eat, which is the real centre of the island. To get the best view of the crater, go up to Nikia, rather than getting the trip that goes actually into the crater. The local bus goes there, it was free when we were there, but the driver expects a donation. We left a couple of euros, which seemed to be about right. We never saw a nudist beach there, but there may be one that is accessible by car. (we were travelling independantly, by ferry and bus)Have a great time.
