I used to find quiet coves like you're describing until one time on Samos I got harassed by a guy and felt very very vulnerable. He perched himself about 10m away and started making psst psst noise at me making me feel v uncomfortable. Closed my eyes and carried on sunbathing hoping he'd go away. Opened my eyes a few mins later and he was standing over me masturbating. I scarpered asap but he could easily have overpowered me and raped me or even killed me. I was scared out of my life. A lesson learned
