The only people on Thanos beach in June were around each of the bars. We saw a big area of sand where you describe but it was empty, not a person on it. We would not have wanted to sit there in the nude in full view of all the 'posers' in the nearest bar - and within earshot of the music.
The beauty of Neftina was that it was a very quiet, non-organised beach where textiles and nudes mixed freely during our stay, while for those wanting more seclusion there are rocks separating a further section at the left-hand end.
