Nudist beaches are very few now (Delfini and Kokkina no more suitable for nudity) so Armeos, Varvaroussa and Klysoura are the nude beaches (access is easy only to Armeos). Agathopes, Galissas and Komito beach are wonderfull - textile beaches but topless swiming is always common for women there, sometimes at Komito almost all women stay topless. Nice points -non touristic- with great dishes at reasonable prices are "Kastri" at Hermoupolis near the market owned by a women couperative (great food), "Sylivanis" at the port of Hermoupolis, "Savvas" at Galissas Bay (local cuisine), Greek Coffe point ("Heleniko Kafeneio") at the main Square of Hermoupolis, "Meltemi" at Agathopes beach (great choise), "Talaras" at Mega Gialos (very nice), "Abela tavern" at Abela beach (also local cuisine). Nice bakery "Danos" at Hermoupolis and Foinikas.Go to "Neorion" supermarker and by honey from Syros (only from Syros - other honey is rubbish!) and anything else from the special stand of local productes inside this market (ask someone there!). All these are prefered by locals - avoid Azolimnos for a dinner, only tourists go there, avoid also all other points inside Hermoupolis who stay closed at winter [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ]
