One reason the bed prices are high as they wish to discourage ''day trippers'' from using the beach. They only want the complex guests on the beach, for them the beds are free.
When the sport activities start as advertised on the Eliva website the beach will have less room for those wishing to use their own beach furniture
If you look at the price of the accommodation, the hotel and villas etc, the prices for food and drink on the beach is comparable.
There are reports on line that guests using the villas and pools etc are complaining that day trippers are overlooking them as they head for the beach.

We had been using LB for 20 + years and feel, as many do, the the heart and soul of the beach has been lost
