We returned, with some trepidation, to Little Banana after a break of about 20 years in September this year.

Yes, it is sad to see the huge sun bed area dominating this beautiful beach. We didn’t use the sunbeds and opted for a towel on the sand instead. There was background music playing, but it wasn’t too intrusive.
The new hotel complex behind the beach consists of a series of low-rise buildings and seems to be well-maintained. They have also built roads to the beaches, so the walk is actually a lot easier than it used to be.

The beach Itself remains about 90% nude, in the sun bed area and at either end of the beach, and the general atmosphere was still very friendly. By the third week in September the beach bar had closed and sunbeds had been packed away. So you could have this place to yourself (for a short time) if you don’t mind a late summer holiday 😉

Although we can’t return to the days of Yianni, his little dog ‘Alpoo’ and his very comfortable deck-chairs, we would return to Little Banana.
