[ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: Sun, August 29 2021, 14:49:36 I visited Lefkada for the second time in the last week of August 2021, focusing my nudist experiences in Pefkoulia and Kathisma. Pefkoulia remains a great naturist beach: easy to access (although parking can be challenging in high season), beautiful and from a certain point 100% nudist. It's so large that you don't have to worry about findind a place to stay, although you must have in mind that the farther you walk (to the right, facing the sea), you will find yourself in an area used mostly for gay cruising. You need to be careful when entering the sea due to large rocks. Two differences I noted comparing to my previous time in Pefkoulia: swimming was way more difficult due to the waves and insects in the end of afternoon, which used to be a problem, were virtually none this time. I realized that the beach currently referred as the third bay of Kathisma and Gaidaros are actually the same place. A magnificent beach, with crystal clear waters and most of the time very calm. Also large enough so that you don´t need to be close to other people. The southern/left part of the beach (facing the sea), where people coming by car park, is always taken by textiles. Nudists tend to stay in the middle and right part (the first one you reach coming from Kathisma). The only problem I found was a certain flow of textiles coming either from Kathisma or by car to take pictures, as it is a really scenic beach. Maybe this is only a high season thing. And during my stay in Lefkada I got the great news that the staircase in Egremni was repaired and reopened this summer. Didn´t have a chance to try it though, but I urge my fellow naturist friends to occupy the beach before it´s too late, like in Porto Katsiki.
