Meanwhile, the desk clerk returned with a redheaded woman. Upon seeing Ren, her eyes lit up with delight.

"Ren! It's been ages! Why don't you come and visit anymore?"

"Your fiancee doesn't like me," Ren pointed out wryly.

Lizzie shook her head. "David's just a little stubborn. But what brings you here tonight? Oh, and who are your friends?" She looked them over curiously. "I don't think I've met any of you before..."
