Otik doesn't eat people indiscriminately anymore, now that he's grown up (operative word: indiscriminately.) Is technically an orphan, having devoured parents at three months old. He has several improbable idiosynchrasies--an addiction to cabbage, a phobia of garden hoes, and an obsessive compulsive tendency to wash his tendrils before every meal. Has the more rational fears of chainsaws and fire.
