To anyone who will listen. It has been very touching reading all of these personal stories and it is comforting to know that there is someone out there who can actually relate to our situation. We lost a baby girl to turners syndrome and decided to try again we thought the odds were in our favor however this pregnancy has also had its complications. At my 11 week ultrasound with the specialist we discovered a cystic hygroma however at that time weren't sure what it was and hoped of course the swelling would go away and it has not it has only gotten worse. On our last appt. this past Wed we discovered that not only has the swelling gotten worse but the baby has fetal hydrops and now has no amniotic fluid. We feel like we have run in to a brick wall. The hygroma now measures at 11.3 and the babys head only measures at a 10. Now we are faced with the most trying decision ever whether to continue with the pregnancy or to terminate (at 22 weeks) I don't know what to do or if there is a right thing to do We've been holding on to hope and now it all seems to be gone. I'm not sure how to get through this Please help
