 My grandfather was Richard "Dick" George Shannon. I believed he served upon the Euryale but I have not confirmed that yet. Does anyone remember him? He is listed in the personnel roster on this website for this ship. My Grandfather was married in 1941 to Ruth and they were from New York. They had a daughter in 1943.

Please respond with any commentary. It would be wonderful to confirm. It wish I could see new pictures of him.
