What Made You Decide to Join Sea Cadets/ Navy League...And Being In Cadets, what has it benifited for you.?
About 4, or 5 Years ago, I went out to Comox British Columbia, to see my grandparents, little did i know just down from their house, was a Sea Cadet camp, HMCS Quadra. I was there luckly around their finally graduation getting to watch it. Being amazed, I quickly decided to forget about scouts, and Join Sea Cadets. At that time, I was just recently kicked out of scouts, with who some of you know, Bob, and Brad, Colalillo? Yeah, well, I went home. And we went to the armouries, planning on joining Sea Cadets, but I had to join Navy League, witch was all good, because i ended up meeting, lots of you there.
Looking, back staring out in Navy League when I was 11, about to turn 12, untill this day, as I am a po2 in Sea Cadets, I dont think I would give up cadets for anything, I know thats corny, but cadets is basically my life. I met most of you during the past 4 years as a cadet, and i'm glad of that, you are all great people, who i most likely would not have met if i did not join sea cadets. I LUV U ALL! lol...
Because of Sea Cadets, I now know how to play and read music, pretty well, if it wasnt for cadets i know i wouldnt have started learning music, and the thing on the top of my list to do when i go on to post seconday school...is go to UNiversity for music=)
Another thing, is my love for rap music..lol..as wierd and retarted as that sounds, if it wasnt for most of you i prolly wouldnt be listening to rap, We where at base borden, a1-51? and then there was everyone playing their music, i was like, wtf is this, but i ended up to love it, Sam, Corrina, Jamie!!!! lol
yeh..i cant think of anything else?:(
I just got really bored and needed to write something...I wanna hear your stories.
