雖然由'82年的林志美，聽到今時今日的林志美，但十分好奇的是，通常一般歌手，年紀越大，聲音會變得越低沉；但林志美郤剛好相反，十幾年不見，聲線反而變得越來越年輕幼嫩，實在十分不解?

對我來講，還是懷念以前的林志美。以前的聲音，有一種獨特的質感與厚度，聽來帶點成熟的韻味。現在的林志美，和一般時下少女歌手，幾無兩樣.

成熟的林志美反而有一把年青的聲音，似乎有點諷刺。
